how many nights will battery last

My lights were on my skip for about 5 weeks and still going strong. They automatically turn off at dawn and back on at dusk which helps the lifespan.

Read that it comes on auto at dusk, but when I put the battery in, its constantly on/flashing?... help

Either the light levels when you place the battery in are low enough to trip the lux sensor (it could just be your shadow) or it is a faulty sensor.
