I would recommend encasing the cheese in clear epoxy resin. Once fully hardened it can be highly polished and felt glued to the base. This would not just make a fantastic paperweight but also preserve the prize cheese for eternity. P.S. If your grandma still manages to eat the cheese then you will have no worries about anyone else breaking into your home.

Hi, it takes the usual AA batteries. The spring which you put -ve side of battery is quite long so this would also take the shorter ones. Decent safe for the money and easy programed.
