'The IVF process is so out of your control and this was a really helpful tool to bring me back in control and nurture my body' -- ***** Reader review 'Excellent book, a great way to feel like you have some control over this crazy process!' -- ***** Reader review 'Terrific and informative - worth every penny' -- ***** Reader review 'Easy to read and easy to understand' -- ***** Reader review 'Brilliant' -- ***** Reader review **************************************************************************************************** More and more couples are turning to IVF each year to help them conceive, and yet there are still many questions to be answered. "What makes IVF successful?" and "what else can we do to support our treatment?" are two of the most important queries couples can have, and here, Zita West offers solutions . Nutrition and lifestyle advice , psychological and emotional support and a positive mindset all play an important part in helping couples conceive, and can even make the difference between a successful and unsuccessful outcome. This book not only advises how to prepare for IVF , but why it's so important to prepare , and with a step-by-step diet and lifestyle plan and over 60 recipes for meals designed for optimum fertility heath, this is a clear way to actively support your treatment. Review: Great recipes and nutritional explanation - Brilliant book. Lots of tasty recipes and science behind the nutrition. Really helped me and my husband in the run up to our two ivf rounds. Who knows if our luck of actually being pregnant came down to a mixture of factors such as this diet book, exercise and my husband taking wellman conception tablets, or just luck alone. I would highly recommend the book anyway because of the many great tasting recipes. Review: Interesting advice, but not very practical - This book is a little hard to navigate, but it deals well with the multitude of pathways of the ivf reader. I have made a few of the recipes in the book, and nearly all if them have been tasty. Some of the ingredients are a bit tricky to track down, and there is little advice about alternatives for hard to get things - like bee pollen! Some of the advice in the book feels a bit generic at times, and there is lots of jumping backwards and forwards - which is fine if you have the hyperlinked ebook version. The meal plan is useful as a reference, but not really doable if you have a full time job! I have adopted three or four recipes from the book that I will use again, and it was useful four writing out lists of food stuffs to include in your diet at various points in fertility treatment.

Can not recommend this book highly enough
I never write reviews but I felt it was important to come and write one for this book. I found it fantastic. The IVF process is so out of your control and this was a really helpful tool to bring me back in control and nurture my body. The recipes were delicious and varied and I found myself referring to each section as I went through the stages. I saw previous comments about ingredients being difficult to source but I have managed to source all of them and I live in Cornwall where we don’t have fancy health food shops. Regardless of the changes my body went through the one thing I relied on was feeling satiated and each recipe did that for me. I can not recommend this book enough for those going through IVF and wanting to ensure their body gets what they need.

Great explained excellent
I been in and out of this book through out my IVF process. I’m about to have my first embryo tomorrow and it explains everything I needed. Before I even started my Journey, this book explained allot, what to expect, what to eat, and what mental mind to be in. I’m sure to be keeping this book for more recipes and any other questions I have

Bit disappointing
Bit disappointing. Gave a good overview of IVF and lifestyle changes but didn't really give a structured diet suggestion other than a meal plan for a detox. Not enough recipes to build your own meal plans out of and all the information is basically available on the internet for free. It refers on the back to meal plans but there is only one for example.

Very informative
I don't usually leave reviews but I feel I need to for this book. It arrived yesterday and I have learnt so much already (we are starting our first cycle of IVF in January). It sets out the meals in sections, according to which stage of the process you are at. I'm so glad I bought it!

Really good
Really good book. Im a nutritionist who works with patients going through IVF and I found this book a really great information resource which is easy to read. The recipes aren't the best and are a bit to complicated.

Ingredients are not everyday items
I loved the information about Ivf but when it came to the recipes they use items I don’t typically have so I never made any

The recipes were full of things I could not readily find at the store, and when I could....crazy price. All I used were the smoothie recipies which I have found on Pinterest already.

Too complicated. You need to be a millionaire to find and buy all the ingredients for her recipes
