Can the unit be charged safely from the mains by connecting the usb cable to an iphone style 3 pin plug ?

As far as I am aware, you can charge the unit only via the supplied 12v car-adapter (when you have got the car going and whilst driving), but the usual way would be via the supplied USB cable which you can of course plug into the mains via a cheap (Lidl: EUR 4.99) suitable adapter.

Yes, however check it regular as I did not use it fir 6 months and when wanted to use it , found it dead and it would not recharge and needed a new battery, would have to send back for new battery, waste of money . Do not buy.

It has usual 1 year manufacturers warranty

How many times can a 1000 charge a mobile phone

Hi I have had fun of these for the time it came out and I use it many many many times I use it to charge many items never had a problem once. It’s unlimited time you can charge your phone up. As long as you keep your machine in a one condition and charge when necessary it will survive for years. I would say just charge on lol 😂 as it will not harm the machine and or mobile. Dave.
