So have only gotten around to using this Axe for a second time now..The first Axe was returned due to it Bluntness..This one is Sharper but could still be better..However I used an Old File to obtain a better edge on the Axe and it cut through Sleepers like butter..Its got good Balance..a nice weight to it..you can get a good swing at the Wood and after 30 minutes of chopping checked the edge for any wear but nothing visible..For the Price paid you can't go wrong..Its a Great Axe and hopefully will see a few Years of good Service and I would highly recommend this as a reliable investment..Thanks..

Purchased this draper axe a few months ago and I am thoroughly Please with how well priced this item is and the quality this axe has been made to. The item arrived quickly ready to use to split logs for my log burner and it’s faultless so far blades holding a sharp edge and cutting well even the handle is comfortable in your hands with no pain when using for a Long length of time.

Simple, straightforward, nicely balanced lightweight axe excellent for splitting straight-grained logs, or chopping through light branches for kindling. A perfect mid-range tool between my single-hand axe and heavy splitting maul. Not a tree-felling instrument but this would certainly tackle light brush and heavy undergrowth. A no-messing tool with no frills but all the necessary attributes to do its job.

Good weight in the tool

We’ve bought 2 of these now and very happy with the quality and price point of the item. The axe cuts very well and is ready to use from purchase. We did also buy a sharpening stone and have had to sharpen the 1st one twice since purchase about 4 months ago with medium to heavy use. Compare to others that are twice the price, this holds its own in terms of comfort when using it, and performance etc in getting the job done.

Good axe, arrived on time and functions - but came with a chip in the blade, rust in the blade, and the protective cover came split in the middle, offering little protection.

Great product, I liked it so much I bought it twice. I think they'd just about perfect for almost everything. I buy them for people who are getting married. (I tell them it's an ancient and symbolic gift for starting a life together). Really I'm usually hoping one of the two will rise up and destroy the other one, and the gift means I can be a part of that. It's the gift that keeps giving.

This is a great tool, just a shame uts not hardened steel, ut goes blunt very easily and in my opinion should be supplied with a sharpening stone
