There are seven unique identifiers. The wiremapping remote that is snapped on to the top of the tester is #0, and the additional ones in the kit are #1 - #6. You can buy more sets of remotes, but they will all be numbered #1 - #6 as well, so they won't be unique. Typically people move them around to map out their network rather than connect a large number at one time.
