Pioneer DAB Antenna

Does just what it is meant to do. Good product.

The connects2.co.uk Yaris steering wheel control adaptor CTSTY001.2 was purchased in conjunction with Pioneer AVH-X5700DAB, the Pioneer DAB Antenna CA-AN-DAB.001, the connects2.co.uk CTPIONEERLEAD and the Yaris facia kit from connects2.co.uk CT24TY22. All work perfectly together, easily installed with no difficulties. Recommended. No other adaptors or wires required. Pioneer fits perfectly and works easily with great DAB reception and sounds great with the Equalizer allowing the sound to be tuned to the car. It synchronized via Bluetooth with my iPhone 5, importing the phone contacts into the Pioneer, allowing caller ID and answering and dialing of numbers via the Pioneer touch screen. Plays the music on the iPhone easily via Bluetooth. Have not yet tried the USB connection to the iPhone yet, nor the DVD movie player with the required handbrake wire nor the optional reversing camera. The Pioneer DAB Antenna CA-AN-DAB.001 should work with most other active DAB receivers and it is robust compared to some other DAB screen antenna. It looks similar to the Audioleads DAB screen antenna available from Halfords, but without the additional power lead which is not required for receivers with an active powered DAB input.

Antenna works ok with some loss of signal. Easy to install but came in 2 parts with no fitting instruction but still worth the cost

OEM product, not likely to be genuine Pioneer, hard to say what it is, there are no details on the product itself. No instructions, not sure if it has the proper connector that fits pioneer radio, because back of my radio looks like it supposed to have the connector screwed on (similar to aerials on network routers). However it does fit, I found some instructions online how to install DAB aerial on windscreen and applied it to my situation. Install didn't take long and everything seems to be working ok. Didn't have to scrape paint of the A pillar like some other reviewer suggested. I think it deserves 3 stars.

I thought I would write a review due to my experience, which is good. I am dubious as to whether this is a genuine Pioneer product as there is no Pioneer labelling anywhere on the product and, although it does say "Distributed by Pioneer EU", there is no copyright symbol or proper Pioneer Symbol on any of the paperwork. Also when you search for instructions on Pioneer Dab Antenna it apparently comes in 2 parts, which this did not. That being said, I have been using this with a Pioneer Sph-da360dab for the last week and have virtually no drop outs so can say I am very happy with it. It fit easily in the top left of the windscreen, right hand drive car, and I did make sure it was far enough down and out, as per the instructions. It may be more money than others and may or may not be genuine but for the money I spent if it works this well I am happy and glad I didn't take a chance on a cheaper one.

A good value areal that works as needed, install was an issue but that's a me issue.

Firstly it states this is a Pioneer product, there is not one word on the product or packaging to suggest this is made by Pioneer, packaged like an item you would purchase from the local market and performs the same. This is not a cheap item and it simply doesnt work, hardly any reception and blasting fart like noises chipping in and out of coverage makes my system unusable on DAB. Eventually went to Halfords for their £14.99 external solution and it is amazing, do not buy this fake crap product as they are not that simple to fit and you will end up ripping it out!!!

Bought for my mum's Freelander. I will update once fitted, but the quality is good, so it'll be ok.

Je l ai branchée derriere un module externe DAB+ erisin, car l antenne fournie avec ce module etait plutot mediocre . J avais des doutes car l antenne pioneer etait prevue pour du 12v et le module n en delivre que 5 et pourtant , je capte bien plus de stations et avec les 5 barres de signal bien pleines ! Je n ai pas encore essayé en itinerance mais dans ma ville j ai deja une reception parfaite!

Bra funktion till bra pris. Var extremt noga när du sätter dit den däremot, min blev lite lätt sne och är helt omöjligt att dra av den och sätta dit den igen med hur starkt limmet blir på en gång. Bra anslutning vid mina tester.
