Shouldn't have been surprised at the quality of these shoes, they are Clarke's after all! Yes, very comfy. Yes, value for money (they were in the sale!). As for durability, that remains to be seen, but i have great hopes as they are well constructed with a good leather (?) insole and a nice tartan pattern fabric lining. Details not noticed online in the pictures! A great winter walking show that I won't stop wearing in the summer!

These shoes are instantly comfortable, good value, sturdy and well made. Such a shame that Clarks have discontinued this style - they're getting hard to get hold of now. The newer Clarks shoes are not as good.

[Update] Now fully broken in and very comfortable. One lace has frayed/split already however. Probably a fluke, but unexpected with tis much use. Slightly larger than my previous Clarks shoes of the same size. Still fit me fine however but better with a thicker pair of socks. Overall quality is good as expected from Clarks. Could do without the darkened toe and heel - would have preferred to let the leather look and be new when new and then age gracefully rather than being ersatz. Style means they crease immediately but not an issue as they look good. Quite comfortable but not as much as the previous Clarks ActiveAir ones. Sole is a bit of a pain. It's a classic heavily cleated style as used to be standard on all walking boots etc. Trouble is that it grabs all the gravel off our drive and drops it in my car and the house and means I scratch across any hard floor - admittedly a niche issue, but actually a real pain so not recommended if you have a gravel drive.

A nice fitting shoe with a lovely leather upper, but let down by a poor sole. Only two months old and showing worrying signs of wear on the heal already. I don’t expect this pair of shoes to last six months, which is a quite disappointing.

Sturdy leather shoes of high quality which fits perfectly as expected. The product arrived on time even though I expected some delays due to Chritmas. It is a bit heavy compared to regular shoes in the same category, but I always liked this kind of rugged look and feel shoes. So as far as I am concerned, it suits me perfectly and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. Highly recommended, if you like rugged strong leather shoes.

Buying shoes on Amazon saves so much hassle. You don't need to brave shoe shops crammed with rabid women who collect shoes as a hobby. You don't need to hang around while they try to find the right size in the back of a store room. Amazon would never try to sell you the brown ones when you want the black. And Amazon is cheaper. These shoes are exactly as you would find in the Clarks store, good quality neat shoes, that are perfectly comfortable, with none of that broguing nonsense.

These are roomy shoes, but I wouldn't describe them as too large. But if you are dithering over two sizes mayhaps select the smaller of the two. That said they are fantastic value for money for a classy, hard wearing, well made pair of shoes. I think we'll get along just fine.

i really like everything about these shoes. Clarks are normally a safe bet anyway but these shoes are of the highest quality and standard. the look is great, the quality is great, the feel when worn is great, they are sturdy but not bulky. even the detail on them is great. i would recommend to all.

Très bonnes chaussures d'hiver. Lourdes, cuir épais, assez rigides aussi (le cuir devra s'assouplir). Belle finition, robustesse manifeste. Prix Amazon sans concurrence. Taille correctement, mais chaussure relativement étroite.

甲高の幅広の足型のため半文大き目のサイズにを求めたがやはり甲高は解消されませんでした。 その分（半文長いため）先が長くなりました。

Elegantes, cómodos, fuertes y bonitos zapatos. Para cualquier ocasión. Uso frecuentemente está marca de zapatos y con éstos estoy encantado. Pedí la talla 8 UK y me viene algo más grandes que la 42 española que es la que uso normalmente, pero como son un modelo más para otoño- invierno, estando bien atados y con unos buenos calcetines, me encuentro cómodo. No los cambiaré. Muy recomendables.

Schon bei der ersten Benutzung stellten sich die Schuhe als ausgesprochen bequem dar. Die Sohle ist sehr stabil und massiv und verspricht daher, im Gegensatz zu anderen Marken, recht langlebig zu sein. Auch die Verarbeitung ist sehr solide, das Leder hochwertig gegerbt, kleinere Unregelmäßigkeiten weisen es als Naturprodukt aus. Lediglich die Schuhbändel lösen sich nach dem Schnüren in Kürze wieder, muss also beobachtet werden. Möglicherweise tausche ich sie gegen ein Paar ordinäre Bändel aus, die ihren Zweck erfüllen. Summa Summarum bin ich mit meinem Kauf schon jetzt sehr zufrieden und habe beschlossen, Clarks zu meiner Marke zu machen.

Consegna addirittura in anticipo rispetto ai tempi prestabiliti di un giorno. Ottimo servizio di Amazon! Ho preso queste scarpe perchè un modello da 130 euro di Pitti di Firenze si è completamente scollato dopo qualche giorno di uso! Le cuciture della tomaia erano false! Alla faccia del Made in Italy! Ho scelto queste clarks perché avevo avuto occasione di provarle in un negozio e grazie ad amazon ho risparmiato 35 sul prezzo da negozio! Calzano larghe! Io normalmente indosso il 42 ma ho preso il 41,5 misura che normalmente in Italia è difficile trovare in una scarpa,hanno la tomaia in pelle naturale anche se erroneamente su amazon vengono spacciate per pelle finta! La suola è cucita alla tomaia garantendo così robustezza e durata nel tempo. La pelle è di buona qualità , morbida al tatto e resistente .Sono molto comode anche per via della pianta abbastanza larga! Le consiglio vivamente è presto ne prenderò un altro paio nero!
