From warm white to full RGB effects, it covers everything I need for product shots, video lighting, and ambient setups. The controls are simple to use, and the small screen makes it easy to fine-tune brightness and colour temperature precisely. Battery life is surprisingly good — it lasts through my photo sessions without needing a recharge. I’ve also used it handheld for a few TikTok clips, and it gives such a nice, soft, cinematic glow. Overall, this Neewer light is a gem. Whether for photography, video, or just adding atmosphere to a room, it performs way above its price range. Highly recommended!

I picked up the NEEWER Magnetic Handheld Light Wand for some extra lighting in my videos, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. The NEEWER RGB Light Wand is a fantastic portable light for photography, video, and creative content. The build quality feels solid, the magnets are strong, and the range of colors and effects is impressive for the price. It’s bright, easy to handle, and works great for YouTube, TikTok, or on-location shoots. The only downside is the lack of Bluetooth or app control — adjustments have to be made manually on the device, which can be a bit inconvenient during shoots. I blame myself for not checking the features listed and confused myself with the "C" versions of Neewers lights. Despite that, it’s still a reliable and well-made light wand that delivers excellent results and great versatility.

What an amazing little product. The magnetic back is so useful in a variety of situations. It's really small, yet so bright. Really easy to carry around with my other gear as a secondary light source. Excellent value for money.

No joke, I bought one of these larger and four smaller lights. All to act as my background lights for my video. The options on it are superb, I love that opacity, saturation and colour can be changed so easily. It's crazy good going from old school lights where I'd be using gels to produce such colour. They also worked well in a few creative photo projects when I'm using strong mist filters, they product lovely colour leak gradients, seriously amazing lights.

Really good. Bright enough for close up photos, but you'd want a larger version for much else.

I bought 4 of them to replace the one I got from Ulanzi, because they have no App Control and both the warm white and cool white LEDs are awfully Magenta. Even the G/M correction function on the Neewer TL97C isn’t strong enough to add enough magenta to match them!!! So i’ll be using the Ulanzis only for RGB. Neewer TL97C Pros : - Neewer TL97C are incredibly neutral all the way from 2500K to 7500K, with excellent color rendition. - G/M correction function (a must have in a RGBWW light). - Excellent App control - 17 excellent and editable FX - No flickering - Not much more expensive than the cheaper alternatives that doesn’t have app control and G/M correction. Cons : - The magnets on both size aren’t strong enough to securely attach multiple lights together (unless they’re also attach to a metal surface from the back, like on my picture), and the recommended optionnal 1/4-20 screws won’t work since they will randomly align the lights.. completely useless, so save your money and skip the screws.. I strongly recommend the 8$ Neewer softbox/grid that will take 2 tubes (attached with magnets is secure enough in that case). The diffusion sheet is pretty much useless and only cuts the light output for no reason.. but the grid is amazing is incredibly useful!

I’ve been using this RGB tube light primarily as a fill or rim light in tighter setups, especially when shooting in restaurants and cafes. The build is solid, and the interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The light quality is excellent, with vibrant output and a range of useful modes. Battery life is decent for on-location shoots, making it a reliable tool in my kit. I haven’t been a big fan of Neewer products in the past, but this RGB tube light is a pleasant surprise — it definitely bucks the trend.

Value for money, really good value for the money Functionality, works great Mount ability, odd review prompt question but it mounts just fine the way you would expect any quarter inch thread to mount on a stand. Color options, lots and lots thumbs up. Light quality, for the price it gives you tons of options and very good quality but it's not very bright and I ended up buying a much more expensive light with the barn doors of a similar size which is also great. Battery life, was comparable to the claims but on the highest settings came in under the listed lifespan.

Live the new NEEWER lights and app. I use a SL90 as a key light at my desk and got this as a fill light. I will add a NEEWER bulb to a lamp to make a hair light and then my teams/zoom set up for will be complete.
