An absolute godsend for PC enthusiasts.
A fan in my PC developed a dodgy bearing and was making an annoying noise. The problem was that the fan was screwed to a radiator and located such that the two screws furthest into the case were down next to the motherboard with the RAM and my H110i block/CPU in the way. I could remove the radiator (its screws were on the outside of the case) but the cooler block was attached to the CPU so it would have been extremely awkward trying to remove the fan from the radiator with the short, thick water pipes still leading to the CPU. Even worse would be if I'd had to remove the block from the CPU and then mess about pasting it back on again after. Plus disturbing anything can just lead to more problems developing. My other option was to find an ingenious way to get the screws undone. That is where this device came in. What can I say? It worked perfectly both undoing and doing up the screws. The ratchet allowed me to loosen the screws and then I was able to reach in and use the red wheel to do the rest by hand. The reverse being the case when putting it back in. So this is a great little device that will become a much valued item in my toolkit as I am sure it will save the day many times in the future. It feels good quality and I wouldn't expect it to break in a hurry.

My new favourite screwdriver
From a functional point of view, I had two screws that I needed to undo, but just couldn't get to. The free room above the screw heads was slightly less than the length of a normal replaceable screwdriver bit - before you even think about putting anything on it to turn it. I had tried everything short of either being committed to an insane asylum or moving house to one which didn't have any difficult-to-get-to screws. Within minutes of trying this tool, that became a historical problem. I could have taken it out for a nice meal and kissed it. Perhaps I am well disposed towards it, but from a 'tool' point of view, you can tell when a tool is really nicely engineered - and this one is. It is mostly made of metal apart from the red bits in the photo ( which are a reasonable plastic ), feels solid and not at all flimsy. It needs about 20mm of clearance to get to the screw and probably a bit more than that laterally in order to use the ratchet action. As in the photograph, it comes with four different low profile bits plus a second Philips size 2 already in the driver, and you could swap these for normal bits if these are too low profile for requirements or if you needed a different type of bit. All in all I would recommend - and I am sure that I will be actively looking for more difficult-to-get-to screws to give me an excuse to use it again. Now where did I put the phone number for the asylum?

A useful tool in your screwdriver collection
I bought this to get at a screw for a kitchen sink tap that was in a very awkward to reach location. As it happened it didn't suit that purpose and the screw I was trying to undo was beyond use anyway but I nevertheless don't regret buying this tool. It is not the cheapest you can buy for such a purpose but you can tell that it is very well made and is an example for me of quality Japanese engineering. This is a small ratchet screwdriver for use where a conventional screwdriver's handle and body would get in the way and the screwdriver comes with a few optional ends and a handy little node for poking these out of the holder. The ratchet mechanism itself works well and I can see it lasting me a long time if I look after it. I keep it indoors so rust should not be an issue. With screwdrivers you use what you need for any one job and no one screwdriver or even screwdriver set is going to do everything or at least do it well. So little niche tools like this are essential to add to your collection over time as the need arises (at least that's what I tell my wife) and I am glad to have it among my other less-used by useful nonetheless options. If you need a screwdriver to get at screws in awkward spaces then I think you could do far worse than buy this. It won't suit every task or even necessarily be regularly used but it will perform well when needed. Recommended.

Best in it's price range by far
great value for money, very low profile, profile is exactly 2cm with included bits (0.78in), other bits will fit as well but the hand adjustment (red) ring is rounded so it can be a bit fiddly to get them in there. i bought this to only use when adjusting screws in spaces too small for a stubby driver to fit but anyone with wrist and elbow issues would enjoy the ratchet action even with space for other tools, and the hand adjuster allows you to thread and start/finish with even more ease. i expect over time there will be 6 dents in this ring as i'm using it with 3rd party torx and sizes not included but that also means i expect this to last. so far it feels robust enough to handle some pretty decent torque and i've used it to secure 1u servers and network equipment. i expect that if this thing breaks it will be my fault and i'll purchase another one rather than trying a different brand. overall very satisfied have and recommended to fellow engineers. being able to switch the direction and then immediately test by rolling the hand wheel helps immensely while getting used to a new tool such as this. easily fits in the pocket and the 4-slot bit holder included has a handy rounded tip to push bits out from the other side, this will make life easy but also limit wear & tear, especially with 3rd party bits that feel slightly larger. you may want to remove the bits and just carry the black holder in your pocket for that sole purpose. portable and light - a design goal achieved, but also means that if dropped it could easily fall beyond reach, luckily the entire chassis is magnetic so easily retrieved if you keep a magnet handy. i have large hands and the grip is decent, though i may apply some grip tape to the bottom third to safeguard against drops and also so i can identify my tool now that my colleagues are all carrying these too.

Perfect and durable
I've had this little tool since 2015, I bought it 9 years ago here on Amazon. It's actually such a brilliant little tool and has come in handy many times. It's been used and abused and still works flawlessly. It's perfect in its construction. For some reason, when I bought it, I wasn't in the know-how with tools, I wasn't into DIY so much, and I must've bought it on a whim, but I'm very glad I did. I checked out Engineer's other products and have bought a few of them since and they're all amazing quality. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Good quality and nice size for working on my motorbike
What a brilliant 'little' tool this is. I bought this to adjust the pilot screw on my motorbike carbs. It fits the job perfectly (on a Fazer 600). Its very small in height and length so would be useful in the toolbox for all those awkward jobs that raise their heads every now and then. It was delivered very quickly and communication was brilliant from the supplier. The quality of the tool is a mixture of metal and plastic parts which seems to be put together very solidly. It's a micro sized ratchet so I wouldn't use it to really tighten down bigger screws but I've got faith that it will do the jobs I ask of it.

Good Idea with stubby bits (DR55)
Ok, so stubby ratchets that accept 1/4 inch hex base bits are useful for hard to reach spots (door handles etc.). I knew that! When I ordered, I was wondering why buy this one particularly costing twice as much as other alternatives? Verdict: THE GOOD 1) All metal, seems very sturdy and well made 2) Really tiny (110mm long, 16mm wide at top, 7mm thick) Alternatives are 25mm thick (tall) and above... 3) Includes "stubby" bits. While ordinary 1/4 inch hex bits are 25mm long (and can also be inserted in the tool if needed) these are 18mm long so they reduce the total working height even more. An ordinary 1/4inch ratchet plus adaptor plus bit that I have is 55mm tall. 4) Bits held in place very firmly (although it's not magnetic). 5) holder end pushes bits on the back to remove them from tool (clever). THE BAD 1) includes 5 stubby bits, but holder holds 4 !!! so one must always be on the tool or will get lost 2) Red Plastic Left/right ratchet switch and red head cover, are...well... PLASTIC. Why ? Will they last? I don't know. 3) No soft rubber grip at the back, but I would not use this for high torques anyhow so no big problem. Expect to use 3 fingers maximum when pulling as it is very very small! OVERALL: Good, mainly because these stubby ratchets are supposed to be used once a year when you can't reach a spot, and this is even shorter than alternatives, so it will definately fit everywhere...

Well made and works great, A tool you want to have in the tool chest
I wanted to use this a few times before I submitted a review. My job I needed this driver badly for some tight spaces and it was near perfect. High quality construction, and wonderfully thought out design. Its a treasure and hopefully I can use it for the next 20 years. I really do like this driver. I wish it was a 1/16 shorter LOL, but I made it work. I should hope to buy a 2nd one as a spare sometime soon. If you are hesitating, don't! Its a great tool and there is nothing that comes close out there trust me I looked for months and months until I found this.

Una pequeña gran maravilla
Funciona perfectamente para sitios casi inaccesibles. Material de calidad. Súper minimalista , no ocupa nada de espacio. No sirve para todas las puntas por lo que hubiera estado bien que incluyeran más.
