Resident Evil 5 HD (PS4)

Great game

It's between resident evil 4 and 5 for me. Excellent gold edition is worth the extra money which was only a tenner

I traded my old 360 copy of RE5 and had to pick this up as this contains all DLC for RE5 for the PS4, it's not really a remaster but of a HD VERSION or call it a pc port. The game does look better with the hd update to it, and runs a lot quicker and smoother compared to the old gen machines. This title will appeal to those who are fans of the RE series and also new fans who are just introduced by it. It's action packed from start to finish, and there is so much replay value to it, as well as completing the main story campaign you also have online or offline modes to try out along with those dlc characters. This is a great title to have stacked along with your other ps4 games. It's a fun game played solo or with a friend online. For it's current price of £20.00 how can you go wrong with it. Go pick up a copy and have fun gaming. Enjoy

Totally different from previous entries has more of a gears of war feel definite break from previous

I bought this game specifically to play with my best friend, and both of us had brilliant fun! Both of us absolutely loved this game and will definitely be replaying it! We are always on the lookout for local co-op story-based games, which there is unfortunately few of for the PS4. The overall story of the game is quite slow and ridiculous, however, this weirdly doesn’t detract from the gameplay in any way, in fact it probably makes this game even better! This is a fantastic co-op title, the entire game can be played locally with a friend, and is probably one of the most enjoyable 2 player games out there! I highly recommend this game if you are looking for an excellent multiplayer on the PS4, or just an enjoyable solo experience!

Value for money

I loved this games, I didn't expect them to build it from the ground up like they did with RE2 but nevertheless the graphics are definitely better, I put my ps3 version on & compared on the ps4 pro, it's not much bt it's a differene, remember this was a ps3 game & we are not being slammed with a full price. It a good game, all DLCs included, even online Co-op, Mercenaries, local Co-op etc

Resident evil 5 was the game that drove the franchise away from its survival horror roots. Although the game isn't particularly scary it does make for some intense moments like when you feel like your being overwhelmed by the infected or when you first meet the chainsaw maniac boss! Despite this the game at its heart is an action game with a variety of weapons, intense action scenes and epic boss fights. The game does allow for co-op play which was a novelty at the time but that combined with relatively ( for res evil standards) large amounts of weapons/ ammunition, bright sunlight and so, so many collectibles as to pretty much take away any fear factor which it's predecessors were so well known for. This HD remake gives the game a visual makeover. Capcom have also slightly tweaked the gameplay and the disc also includes all DLC. Although when playing it one instantly notices the gameplay does feel dated, in many ways even more so than the original res evil remake as in that game the limited controls add to the tension, not so for res evil 5. Still a solid experience well worth getting for any res evil fans.

The game came reallt fast like in 2 days and i said it was going to take 6 days to get to me but it was fast the game was perfect love it i woukd buy it again
