First of all, my dog is on his tablet right now filing a formal complaint with his union rep, I suspect serious sanctions are warranted for daring to subject my very fancy and elegant Elkhound to this "monster hat" but omg it is too cute. Super soft, well made, the ears holes are in the right spots, and just overall surprisingly nice for the bargain price. Fits well and sizing is just as described. Fun blue and teal, easy to put on (keeping it on, well that will depend on your dog and how patient they are with such foolish human silliness) and nice construction and stitching means it will last. Can't wait to use for a costumer, assuming I am ever allowed to put it on him again. We'll see I guess.

This was a trial to see if my dog is a hat dog. She is, it keeps her head warm. Cute and it serves its purpose. :)

Bought this for halloween. Super cute. Easy on, easy off. One needs to make sure it's sized right for the dog so it's not too loose, not too tight. Mine was for a standard poodle, so I bought medium. They have skinny heads, but poofy hair. The ear holes allowed me to pull the ears out, while the little bear ears were in front. The velcro worked fine. With the medium size, I had about 1.5 inches of velcro to hold it together. Dog tried to scratch it off, so started giving lots of treats, telling him how good he was. Then left it on for quite a while. Took it off, put it on again, treats again. Rinse, repeat. This way, when it was time for the big event, he had no problem wearing it. Everyone thought it was the best thing they'd seen. A couple caveats. First: They have a bit of a chemical smell, not strong, but enough to notice, so I put them outside in the sun to air out. Had it not gone away, I would have washed in soapy water. But after a few hours, it was fine. Second: there are ear holes. (addressing the reviews that complain about the ear holes) It's a costume, not a hat to keep your dog warm. (And even if it was a hat to keep your dog warm, I'd bet they'd rather have the ear holes than not.)

Sizing wrong. Doesn't look anything like photo, but is so small that even a tiny puppy's head would not fit in the hat, especially since it is sewn to the collar in the front on both sides with too small space between. Disaster!

Bought this to protect my doggy’s ears from cold and wind as she is susceptible to ear infections. The photo did not show the doggy model’s ears sticking out - they appeared to be under the bonnet. So, I was dismayed to see big holes for the dog’s ears to protrude behind the little ears of the bonnet! So, while it was easy to get on if you want to see 2 pairs of ears, it was a little more difficult to try to tuck the dog’s ears in to protect them. I had some aspirational thoughts of sewing something into the ear holes to close them, lol, as if I would ever get around to that! It feels soft and of good quality. But whether I put it on as a 4-ear style or a two ear style with empty ear holes, my doggy shook it off as soon as she went outside. Might be cute for a photo op if you’re into that!
