Can this be used elsewhere on the body aside from feet?

I would say yes as I have never used it for athlete's foot! I have used it for sweat rash and eczema! It does say on the tin not to spray on broken skin, but I have and the only adverse effect has been a couple of seconds of stinging, but it has helped to heal very quickly. I highly recommend this product. Hope this helps.

The fungus that causes athletes foot can become resistant to miconazole nitrate. is this from using too much or too little? can you use daily?

You can use it every day. You should use it for at least 3 Days after Symptoms have gone. Resistance is pretty rare but usually happens when treatment is inconsistent or stops too soon and is restarted.

I want to spray my shoes with this spray but I am concerned that I will have a lot of white powder in my mainly black shoes. What is your experience?

It does leave powdery residue in the shoe but it wouldn't be seen on the outside.
