If I ordered now (for Christmas) what sort of expiry date would the Torte have ?

I would say just couple of months after Christmas but I recommend buying it if you or person your buying it loves Marzipan you don't see this item in super markets . Germany is big on Marzipan especially when they have Christmas markets .Bought it for my dad he loved it didn't last long. Can't give you a exact date depends what stock they have and my dads eaten it a while back so no longer have box to look at date for you.But order it as Amazon getting quicker with orders now .

If there is a use by date on the package ~ I would go by that certainly if you are giving these to someone ~ a present. For ourselves we tend to ignore best before dates (apart from on meat products especially poultry) on chocolates ~ and marzipan we will eat when ever we get the chance.
