Clear Ice Maker Set, Crystal Ball & Cube Molds for Whiskey Cocktails

Just got my Glacio clear ice ball maker out of the freezer this afternoon, after letting it freeze for about 24 hrs. I had watched a video with helpful instructions about filling & how to loosen each side a little to get the ice out easier. I didn’t feel the instructions on the box were very informative so the video really helped. My ice popped out easily(I got the double maker as I already had a less expensive ice ball mold so I didn’t need the 4 maker) The ice came out beautifully clear the very first time! I considered this a dryrun but they were great so immediately fixed myself a lovely cocktail just to view it. The only thing I needed to do was file down the little bumps where the holes at the top are but just used a paring knife & it came right off. I’m totally pleased!

I have used other round ice molds and they have been good and do disolve slowly but for a serious Scotch or Bourbon enthusiast the ice has to be clear! This ice mold system accomplishes that goal quite well! I had tried a different system that worked well also but the balls were only 2" and I wanted 2.5 inch and thought I would give Glacio a try. I am NOT dissapointed and this system truly delivers. Once the ice is frozen, I take the finished product out and store in a tuperware bowl so I always have one on hand. You do need to let the ice sit at room temp for a couple of minutes per Glacio's suggestion and when you pour the Bourbon or Scotch over the ice it magically dissapears and is truly clear! I HIGHLY recommend Glacio to anyone that is trying to acheive this result. Thank you Glacio!

Very simple to use and extracting the ice. You do get some Ice at the bottom of unit, but I understand this is what allows the balls to come out so clear and not cloudy. I was feeling like I was wasting water, so started filling the bucket with water and eventually that ice at the bottom will float up to the top and then you have a nice big chunk of ice that I smash up a bit and put in my refrigerators ice bin. Then start over. The ice balls are very popular.

The product works perfectly. Easy to use with a nice small footprint which doesn’t take up a lot of freezer space. The ice is perfectly clear and easy to remove from mold. The ice cube/sphere is sized for a lowball cocktail glass which brings me to the only negative I have (and the reason this wasn’t a 5 star review); most of the time I use double old fashion glassware and the cubes/spheres created are too small for those type of glasses. I would like to see a choice for a larger 2.5” cube. What would be perfect is if you could just buy the larger mold and be able to switch out the mold and be able to make both sizes.

Of all the ice mold makers I’ve tried, this by far is the best. The ice is perfectly shaped and crystal clear, unlike any of the other products I’ve tried. Gets me excited to make drinks for guests and family as the ice always impresses and becomes a topic of discussion. Fillability even allows for adding to the molds, currently experimenting with different fruits and mints. Overall great purchase, highly recommend

Exceptionally easy to use. In fact easier than non clear ice molds. Ice was perfectly clear. Only thing to be aware of is that the mold does take up more space in the freezer than a traditional mold. I bought the 2 sphere mold, but I wish I had the 4 sphere mold.

This product works great and does in fact make clear ice. The only con is how long it takes to make 2 ice balls but I knew that when purchasing the product so I can’t fault them for that. They are very clear on what you are getting and your expectations. Prior to receiving the product the company itself sent and email with their instructions on how to get the most out of the product. Can’t complain and I love mine.
