Great beginner’s helicopter for mostly indoors, durable
At this price point, this is a really good value and a great toy. It is the perfect helicopter for someone just learning to fly. It is packed with features and is durable enough to survive multiple crashes (but do try to avoid crashing it). My son got this for me for Christmas because he thinks I am an inept pilot (I am). It has auto take-off, auto-landing and altitude hold. I really like the auto-landing feature and it works very well. The auto take-off is nice, but takeoffs are easy & fun, and it has a tendency to drift backward or forward during takeoff and you have no control until it reaches its hold altitude, so I would rather have a manual takeoff feature, but it’s not a big deal. Auto takeoff would be better for young beginners anyway. It is very easy to maneuver indoors. The forward and backward speeds are rather slow. This is a good thing indoors, but outdoors that means that even the lightest breath of wind will blow it away. So if you want to fly it outdoors, make sure the air is absolutely dead calm or you will be retrieving it from a tree. It has survived a bunch of unintentional crashes and collisions with no damage, which is quite impressive. I have had several much more expensive helicopters and quadcopters that were easily damaged. Some reviewers complain that it loses control near walls or ceilings. That is no fault of the helicopter, it is the way helicopter aerodynamics work. In real helicopters it is called “ground effect” when landing, and pilots need to train carefully for it. But it will happen whenever the helicopter is near a surface in any direction. When the air from the blades pushes against a surface, the lift to the helicopter changes. So when it gets near a wall or ceiling, beware that it is going to change its direction or speed. It has a 3-month warranty and customer service is very responsive. I contacted them near the end of the warranty period to find out how to buy a replacement battery and they had no hesitation in sending a free replacement.

MOST FUN EVER! EASY to LEARN and GREAT FOE BEGINNERS!!!
These are great little Helicopters they are tough and basically fly themselves right out of the box. If you are a beginner fly it indoors no wind or drafts AC off and pick the largest area high ceilings are really good to slowly get the basics of flight hover up down turn left right forward backward before trying to go in circles. the key is move the joysticks ever so slightly and if you see you are going to get out of control and/or crash immediately before impact QUICKLY pull back left joystick to stop all power. Do this and it will save you blade replacement. If you power into something you can destroy your Helicopter. You are going to crash thats part of learning so it doesn't hurt to buy another set of blades. If you do what I said you will minimize the damage and learn in no time. Oh don't let your friends fly it. NO SHARE RULE no.1 Simple and fun pretty much sums this up. We got one for our 6 y/o son for hi Birthday and he took to it easily where he now calls himself a master flyer. Within 2 days we had a second one in our house for my 10 y/o daughter. These are now our "go-to" birthday presents for our son's friends. They are easy to fly, but it is suggested you learn how to slowly lift and land before trying to maneuver around. Most should be able to learn within 1-2 recharges. They charge up relatively fast and have a decent flight time.

Honest review
Well. It’s not so easy. lol Let’s do good bad - Bad it has a short battery life like 6 minuets . Good if you contact them they sent me an extra Batery thanks team ! Great job , ok bad it’s small but that’s ok . Good it’s small it’s not super loud or hard to store . Bad ? It does not like the wind at all good ? For $40 you got a pretty cool helicopter . Bad ? It’s not easy to fly , good ? Use where you have space and use the take off land button when you are in a jam when it’s flying. That way ? And you go oh no ! Push land and it comes right down . Bad ? Mark the top of the battery. So you know which side to plug in top up I just used a red marker . It is small and if you plug it in wrong it will damage it . Good ? It’s an easy fox with a red marker . Cools lights on it. Red or blue change the coke easy. So far it’s really neat BUT fly it outside - get ready to walk a lot lol lol. Good exercise it is just fun have patience I still can’t fly mine but ? It’s fun trying . I give it a 10 . $40 nice features and it’s just fun thanks

Thrilling Fun and Easy Controls with the RC Helicopter for Young Kids
I recently purchased an RC helicopter designed specifically for young kids, and I must say it has been a fantastic addition to our family’s toy collection. This RC helicopter offers an exhilarating experience while ensuring that young children can easily operate and enjoy it. One of the standout features of this RC helicopter is its user-friendly controls. The simplified remote control allows even the youngest kids to maneuver the helicopter with ease. The intuitive design ensures that they can quickly grasp the basics of flying and have fun while doing so. My kids, aged 4 and 6, were able to navigate the helicopter effortlessly, making it accessible to a wide range of ages. Safety is always a priority, especially when it comes to toys for young kids. I was pleased to find that this RC helicopter is constructed with child safety in mind. It is made from durable materials that can withstand accidental crashes and bumps. Additionally, the propellers are designed to be safe and gentle, reducing the risk of any accidents or injuries during play. The flight performance of this RC helicopter is impressive, considering its target audience. It is capable of stable flight and can hover in place, allowing kids to practice their control skills. The helicopter’s responsiveness to the controls provides a satisfying experience and encourages kids to improve their piloting abilities over time. Another aspect that adds to the excitement is the built-in LED lights. These colorful lights not only enhance the visual appeal but also make it easier to track the helicopter’s movements, especially when flying in darker environments. It adds a touch of magic and captivates the imagination of young pilots. In terms of battery life, this RC helicopter offers a decent amount of flying time on a single charge. It comes with a rechargeable battery and a convenient USB charging cable, eliminating the need for constant battery replacements. This ensures uninterrupted playtime and allows kids to fully enjoy their flying adventures. Overall, the RC helicopter for young kids has been a resounding success in our household. It provides a thrilling and engaging experience while prioritizing safety and ease of use. Watching my kids master the controls and enjoy the excitement of flying has been truly rewarding. If you’re looking for a fun and accessible RC helicopter for young children, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It’s a toy that will undoubtedly bring joy and entertainment to any young aviation enthusiast.

A Very Fun RC Helicopter!
The DeeRC Remote Control Helicopter is really fun to fly! I have been flying drones for some time and this helicopter was a fun “change of pace”. The helicopter controls are somewhat different and I enjoyed learning the new techniques operate the controller to fly the helicopter. The helicopter is very lightweight so is best operated indoors – or outdoors if there is no/very low wind conditions. Because the helicopter is so lightweight it might also be fragile. I haven’t experienced any issues (yet) but can see that might be a concern for some. The helicopter has two speeds – both of which are slow enough so that you can still easily control the helicopter. It also has a more limited flying radius than most RC drones – about 100 ft. The helicopter comes with (2) batteries that have the typical operating length – about 10-15 minutes. The controller is very well designed and easy to operate. There are separate knobs for the speed switch and the steering trim. The steering joysticks are easy to operate and the helicopter has great control. It also comes with a VERY nice carrying case for the helicopter, controller, batteries and extra parts. I would highly recommend this RC helicopter as it is very easy to use and operate.

Absolute Best R/C Helicopter In The Price Range
This is, hands down, the nicest R/C helicopter that I have purchased. Right from the unboxing, it is obvious that someone put a lot of thought into every aspect of this product. The helicopter comes in a zippered semi hard shell case with foam inserts to protect all the parts. The battery slides into the body and locks into place without any wires. My children have owned several R/C helicopters/drones over the years and, inevitably, I have had to tear them apart and re-solder the battery leads back to the circuit board. With this helicopter there are no wires, and the battery lasts approximately 15 minutes. Like any R/C helicopter/drone, the controls have their own "personality," but they are easy to learn. The helicopter is very stable and the auto attitude adjustment is great. The self takeoff/landing function makes it a breeze for young children to fly. Despite already owning a couple of R/C flyers, all of my children have already requested one of these for Christmas this year.

Control malfunction
Bought for my son for Christmas, after a few flights the helicopter stopped responding to the remote control. We flew the helicopter straight up, and tried to bring it back down but remote didn’t respond and the helicopter flew far away on its own. Chased it down for about 5 minutes and before we knew it, it was too far away. The helicopter did not stop and flew far away. My son was distraught because we couldn’t recover it.

Great customer service
Seller contacted us and offered to replace it. Had the new one about a week and its holding on strong for now. Appreciate it so much when sellers reach out to correct issues. It worked for a couple months. Speed is slow. Controls were easy when they works but only lasts 3 months. It randomly flies straight up on the Air and you can’t use the controls anymore. Case was nice. Wish it still worked.

Satisfaite.

A Fantastic Helicopter for My 7-Year-Old’s Flying Adventures!
I bought the DEERC Remote Control Helicopter for my 7-year-old son, and it’s been an absolute hit! This 3.5-channel helicopter is an excellent flyer, perfect for young beginners, and has brought endless joy to our indoor playtime. The metal airframe and flexible ABS blades make it incredibly durable, shrugging off multiple crashes into walls and furniture without a scratch. My son loves the vibrant LED lights, which make nighttime flights in our living room a dazzling spectacle, adding a fun, sporty vibe. The altitude hold feature, powered by advanced air pressure technology, keeps the helicopter stable, allowing my son to focus on steering rather than constant adjustments. The one-key take-off and landing function is a game-changer for a young pilot, making it easy for him to start and end flights confidently. The 2.4GHz transmitter ensures a reliable connection without interference, and the controls are intuitive, helping him master hovering and gentle turns quickly. The built-in gyro enhances stability, giving him the confidence to experiment with more adventurous maneuvers. What sets this helicopter apart is its kid-friendly design. The two included shells let my son switch up the look, keeping things fresh. It’s primarily an indoor toy, but we’ve enjoyed calm outdoor sessions too. The battery life supports about 10-13 minutes of flight, which is plenty for his attention span, and recharging is straightforward. This helicopter has sparked my son’s love for RC toys, and I’m thrilled with its durability, ease of use, and sheer fun factor. It’s a must-have for any young aviation enthusiast!
