An all-time favorite, the Anon Raider snow helmet. The Raider features a tough Endura-Shell ABS construction, giving it incredible durability and strength that will make it last numerous seasons. The Raider helmet uses passive ventilation technology to help keep your goggles fog free and maintaining a comfortable temperature all day long. This technology takes in cool fresh air from the front and passes hot unwanted air through the rear vents. This helmet utilizes a simple-fit system that includes removable liners and ear pads for those who rock a beanie or hat under their helmet. The Raider is also compatible with Skullcandy ASFX audio (not included) for those who like to jam out while ripping the snow up. Goggle clip fell off on the first run
I like the fit, warmth and color but the hook on the back that holds the goggle strap fell off on the very first run. I tried to put it back in but it is just held on by a plastic fin that wedges up between the plastic outer part of the helmet and the inner foam lining. There was noting other than the pressure of wedging between the two to hold it on and there is definitely not enough pressure to hold it so it slides in and out too easily and will just fall off again. I put some glue on the fin and put it back in there we will see if that holds. If not the helmet will be pretty frustrating if it doesn't hold the back strap of my goggles.

If your head is like that, order the next size up
Okay, my head measured 22.8" around and I ordered a Medium which is just at the boarder of Medium or Large. If your head is like that, order the next size up.It fits fine but I can feel where it is a bit tight on my head. I will take a knife and carve out the foam for a better fit.Great helmet. Warm. Fits well and the ear covers allows you to hear pretty well.

Goggle clip fell off before I used it once.
The small clip that's supposed to hold your goggle strap on the back fell off before I even used it once. Obviously I didn't notice until I got to the mountain. Snowboarding with your goggles either under your helmet or at risk of slipping off is not fun.Other than that, fits well, comfortable. But can't recommend because of the clip issue.

Cool design, but lacks features of similarly-priced options.
I decided to purchase this helmet mainly because I liked the design on it, even though there were no reviews for it...plus, it was a decent price! I used it snowboarding in Angel Fire, NM a couple of weeks ago. Here is what I've decided:PROS:- Cool topography design!- The ear flaps are soft and comfy, and help keep ears a little warm if you don't wear a beanie underneath.- The chin strap cover is soft, and doesn't dig into you.- Air vents work fine for keeping goggles unfogged, but could be better for keeping head cool.- Cheaper than some I found.CONS:- I'm not a huge fan of the shape. It is very round, with no contours. It looks like an older motorcycle helmet from the 70s/80s. It just seemed bulky to me, compared to the Smith and Giro helmets I was able to try on at a store. But, that is more personal preference than anything.- The foam protection on the inside is only covered by very thin pieces of cloth that are attached by velcro. There really isn't any cloth padding on the inside of the helmet. Again, the Smith and Giro helmets I tried on had a lot more cloth padding inside, separating the foam from the head, and felt more comfortable while wearing. This helmet was not uncomfortable to wear, but I did notice a difference in comfort between this helmet and the others.- The goggle clip on the back of the helmet is pretty useless. It does not snap down securely, so your goggles can fall off without much effort. In fact, they did fall off when I took the helmet off once. Also, the clip itself slid out of the helmet. It is a piece of plastic that slides up between the outer shell and the inside foam. It fell out of the helmet several times with minimal tugging.- There is no headphone cable connector integrated into the ear flaps. There is only a hole where you can feed a cable up through, so you can attach to helmet speakers if you put some in. I only mention this because the Smith and Giro helmets I looked at both had an integrated adapter.- My head was pretty sweaty after riding...could be the lack of quality air vents....could just be me!All in all, I would probably recommend looking into either a Smith or Giro helmet, instead of this one. Both models I saw were the same price or cheaper at my local store than this Anon helmet, and had more features and comfort. However, this is one of the few adult helmets that have a cool design on them, which is why I went for it, and I trusted the Burton name. I did fall hard a couple of times, and I'm sure the helmet helped...but I still got my bell rung decently! At least the helmet didn't crack or bust apart! That counts for something! I definitely don't hate this helmet, but I was a little underwhelmed once it came in the mail and I tried it on. But, when I was on the mountain, I didn't think any more about it!

Perfect helmet I was looking for.
When it comes to snowboard helmets, all it has to do is protect your head and fits comfortably. You don't need to spend over $100 with bells and whistles. I spent less than $60 on this and serves me well. And I'm the guy flying off of ramps and halfpipes.

Tight for beanie
fit's as expected, it may take a little bit of adjusting to get the foam padding just right. keep in mind if you're using it for snowboarding, it will NOT accommodate a beanie inside the helmet unless your head is really small.

Good Quality - Looks Cool
The helmet is great. I purchased four of this brand, which came with 2 different types of goggle stays on the back of the helmet. The elastic ones were fine, the rubber strap (on the black/orange helmets) broke our first day out. Kind of a bummer, but otherwise the helmet is terrific - great fit, snug, and very comfy.
