30m Auto Reel

Very satisfied. Solidly built and works very effectively indeed. Installation was easier than expected. The screws supplied don't look especially robust, but in fact are more than adequate for the job. I did use my own plugs for the fixings as those supplied were very basic. Otherwise the instructions were all pretty obvious and I had it up and running within an hour. The only problem now will be stopping the kids fighting over playing with it - the reel lock is a nice feature! We were a bit shocked by how big the thing looked when it arrived, but now it is in place it looks just fine and is infinitely better than my shabby old reel and coils of hose lying around the place. The price on Amazon is excellent and definitely worth paying for the product. Was particularly impressed with the delivery too - the courier actually bothered to notify us when they were delivering in advance, giving an hour-long window, which they stuck to. If only it was always like that!

Very similar sentiments to other reviews here. Bought it to replace existing hose, as we were too lazy to wind it away and it cluttered up the garden deck, and a bit of a trip hazard to small kids running about.Straightforward to put up with a powerful drill into masonry, took me a little under 30 mins from unboxing to first switch on. Swings freely through 180deg. Auto winding action works perfectly, no problems figuring it out, worked first time. Very effective, big time saver, makes watering a bit less tedious!!Happy with the hozelock quality, I have always bought their stuff. Considerably cheaper on Amazon at the moment that a certain large DIY shed place.I think I got a bit carried away buying the 30m version when I could have got away with the 20m version, however this is not the problem of the product! 30m is obviously quite bulky in terms of the main winding unit so carefully figure out how much you need!

Amazing next day delivery,Good packaging, product intact & complete.Pros.. Great design, everything operates as it should, reel comes & goes exactly as predicted.Cons. The system of connecting to the wall is more difficult (for me anyway) Creating template or taking soft pencil & marking through screw slots seemed easiest. However, this is where the Cons come in...The holes drilled with 7mm bit (as directed) accepted the wall plugs. However, the screws where almost impossible to screw fully into the wall because the hole was not large enough (I put 3 in 1 oil & wd40 on the Plug & screw before screwing into wall)! Also the screws are unusual & VERY soft headed & lost the screw head slots almost immediately I started applying pressure. Eventually I managed to get the screws 'home' (Final part using a hammer, yes, I feel the same... ugly)! Except one that still remain with part of the shank of the screw showing. Also it is worth bearing in mind that they are on show to the whole wide world, as the appliance when fitted does not cover them.Otherwise, all seemed well.. very easy to apply the main body containing the hose etc. good design here. Unfortunately after one use the water was leaking from the bottom of the main body & Hozelock confirmed it had to return to Amazon as you cannot reach the offending fitment. This I where AMAZON& YODEL where amazing, they collected next day, & then 1 day later the new hose was delivered.Have yet to fit & try.. apologies for length of report. Good product just watch the fitting.

Absolutely love this! It makes getting the jet wash out an absolute breeze, just what I wanted.I did not buy the additional fixings to go around corners and opted to just pull out what I needed and then take the hose where it was to be used. This works fine and the same for putting it away, just a hard tug on it and it's so easy to reel back in. It's made a monotonous job a total breeze which is what we wanted, had the jet wash out more times in the last month than we have in the previous year!Fixing it to the wall was easy, my initial reaction was that the screw was not big enough to support the weight but it works well and is definitely secure. There is also space for a small number of attachments in one of the side circles that pops out and a padlock can be attached for security,

I had some difficulty convincing the other half that this was what we needed. He was concerned that it would be intrusive where it needed to be fitted.Now it's arrived & fitted, he's changed his mind & is totally converted. Like all the other reviewers, I'm wondering why we didn't purchase one of these years ago. Yes it's pricey compared with a manual hose + reel, but well worth the extra cost. I am hoping this will last a long time, but slightly concerned about the 'spring' inside issue & the fact that Hozelock don't supply spares for this.Other than that just 2 other small points.Firstly the spray supplied with the hose is unlikely to suit most people, so I would recommend buying another or using an existing spray head. The jet supplied is much too fierce & not much scope for adjustment.We needed to purchase a 30m hose which is quite a lot more costly than the 20m version, however despite measuring the length required before ordering & expecting this to be fully adequate, it only just reaches the maximum distance required. I expected there would be 3 metres to spare. I am wondering therefore, whether the hose doesn't unreel to the maximum length?

Kit preassemblato da appendere al muro (dovrete solo effettuare 4 fori per i tasselli della staffa.In un anno di utilizzo la canna non si è mai inceppata e funziona perfettamente.Comodissimo il fatto di poter sganciare in rullo dalla staffa in modo da posizionare l'oggetto in box nei mesi più freddi.Completo di giunti per rubinetto e "lancia" per regolare il flusso dell'acqua.Prodotto non economicissimo ma molto consigliato!

Le he dado esta puntuación porqué es tal cual lo que necesitábamos y cumple con la descripción del producto. Ha llegado a tiempo y en perfecto estado. Los materiales parecen buenos. Es fácil de montar y de manejar. La manguera entra y sale sin posibilidad de encallarse o hacerse nudos dentro del carrete.La compré así porqué tenemos un perro que se comió/destrozó la otra manguera que teníamos (no tenia carrete). Tenemos jardín y hay partes donde no llega el riego por aspersión así que necesitábamos una manguera bien protegida para que el perro no la mordiera. Además, se puede colgar a la altura que necesites. Estamos muy contentos.

Hozelock Auto Rewind Hose Reels are a fabulous product. Five years ago our son gave us one that he had brought from England to the States. We mounted it on one side of our house and have enjoyed its convenience and serviceability. We were so happy to find this one on Amazon. We have installed it on the opposite side of the house and are extremely pleased with it, just as we expected.Though not inexpensive, these reels are worth the price. Additionally, delivery was much quicker than we expected. A nice little bonus.

Ich habe mich bewußt gegen das Gardena Modell entschieden, weil ich mir aus meinen Erfahrungen der letzten Jahre mit der relativ schlechten Qualität dieser Produkte geschworen habe nur noch alternative Produkte zu kaufen.Der Aufbau klappte wunderbar: Vier Schrauben in die Wand, Box aufgängt und gut.Der Rückzug funktioniert einwandfrei, es muss sich eben auf Dauer zeigen, ob dies so bleibt.
