Samsung SL-C430 Colour Laser Printer - White

It arrived before expected time so was very pleased, Fired her up using windows laptop to install ip address etc and then disconnected cable. The user interface is a little childish looking but that's how things are these days. on windows all is working well, printed off pdf's images etc and they are great. used the NFC on both our smartphones (android) and no problems apart from having to be patient for everything to kick in, yet again great printing. Downloaded printer driver for Ubuntu (linux) and although it took 3 attempts (because linux mint forum go it not quite correct) everything fired up and she's printing A-OK. I am very impressed with this machine! and although it is limited to up to A4 the quality is outstanding and better than my works Xerox Phaser 7500! (and that cost way over a grand) the photo's are fit to frame and show off even though they are on basic plain 80gm paper! after blatting through loads of full colour photo's (that would have wiped out inkjet starter cartridges) there is just a smidgen off the top of the toner level indicators. (my works laser goes for at least six months before it needs a new toner (usually Magenta and then followed some while later by black) So I'm not afraid to use full colour as I know that with a laser you use very little toner. I Love This Machine.

I like this printer but it doesn't get 5 stars and if you're wondering why, read the rest of the review: So I bought this because I was tired of replacing ink cartridges for my old inkjet printer. I knew I would be sacrificing the ability to scan and photocopy but I barely used those features anyway. When I bought the printer, it was on offer, saving me 30% off of RRP. Another reason to buying this printer was Samsung, at the time of purchase, had a promotion going on where you could claim free CMYK + Black cartridge toner for the printer. I took full advantage of the promotion and saved another £120. Moving on, this printer is a great wireless coloured laser printer made by a respectable company. It has NFC features making it ever so easier to print from mobile devices. It doesn't have a screen, like many inkjet printers and higher priced laser printers. This means if you want to change any default settings on the printer you would need to download and install the software for the printer. This isn't really a big issue for me, but for some people it can be. Setting up the printer was easy however the instructions provided were not completely clear. For those confused by the instructions, I recommend going onto YouTube to see how this printer should be set up. The paper try can be adjusted to fit anything from small papers, envelopes to your standard A4 paper however once the paper tray has been pulled out printer, it will extrude out a little which I found rather annoying. (See the image to see what I'm talking about). I believe Samsung should have made the printer so the paper tray can fit back into the printer snuggly and therefore prevent dust from forming on top of the exposed paper tray. Due to the paper tray design, this printer gets 4/5 stars from me.

I bought one of these to replacing a Samsung 670dn that I had on loan from my company. It's a brilliant printer, it prints faster than you would expect for a colour laser. It's also super quiet for also laser too! The only issue we have had with it was it dropping off the WiFi network when it went to sleep, so I used a network cable instead. Occasionally it seems to change ip address and then you have to go through the Samsung diagnostic software. Again fixed this by setting a static ip in our router. We have been that impressed with it that my mother bought one too so she can print photos - on normal laser paper - we are yet to find laser photo paper that works..

This is just about the worst printer I've ever had. So why three stars? It's not an inkjet and it doesn't block up if you don't use it for a month or two. Running costs - I've not had it long enough to know for sure, but knew about the low page count per cartridge before I bought it. That's fine. Print quality - I searched this printer's name, SL-C430W, and printed the results. They came out blurry. The dispatch note printed on some high-volume ultra-cheap industrial printer was much sharper!. Ease of installation - my mistake, it wasn't too bad once I found the installer online. (Ignore the bit of paper in the box telling you what app to download. It's only available in the Egyptian app store, not in the UK.) Size - They say it's small. That's why I bought it. Now, go and watch the video again. There's a second or two where you can just about see the paper tray in the bottom right corner. Yes, that's right! It sticks out, you can't push it all the way in when it's got A4 paper (i.e. normal most places in the world) in it. I'd have sent the thing back if I could be bothered, but it was easier to make room for the paper tray. I cut a hole in the back of the bookshelf it's on so it fits. Please think carefully before buying this. The only thing in its favour is it's not an inkjet.

This is a very slick machine. I can now print in colour from my iPad and my Windows 10 laptop and best of all, it operates over my WiFi so no messy tangled wires. The cost was very reasonable but I know the toners will soon need to be replaced.

Non avevo dubbi sulla marca della stampante dato che ne ho già acquistato una tempo fa ma in bianco e nero. Quindi non ho avuto brutte sorprese. Chiaramente è una stampante che ingombra un po' se non si ha molto spazio a disposizione ma questo vale per tutte le stampanti a colori. Di facile installazione e per chi si trova a farlo per la prima volta, troverà la guida scritta in modo chiaro. Non mancheranno risorse in rete a cui affidarvi in caso di ulteriori problemi. La stampa è fluida nel processo, veloce, regalandovi dei documenti cartacei assolutamente chiari. Non vado in copisteria non so da quanto tempo, anche per stampare documenti a fini professionali, limitandomi a rilegarli con una semplice copertina trasparente. La possibilità di poterla collegare al wifi rende il meccanismo di stampa molto veloce e comodo senza dover scomodare il pc perché faccio tutto dal cellulare. Prodotto consigliatissimo anche per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Très bonne imprimante, elle ne se déconnecte jamais, je n'ai plus les problèmes étrange que j'avais avec mon imprimante jet d'ancre. Le pilote et le logiciel fourni permettent de toujours avec l'imprimante disponible. le support est excellent, je suis ravi de ne plus a avoir a passer des heures à refaire fonctionner l'imprimante !

La impresora es muy fácil de configurar y con una calidad superior respecto a las impresoras medias de su categoría. Respecto a su tamaño es ideal en espacios reducidos ya que nos permite su instalación casi en cualquier lugar de la habitación. La impresión por cable es muy rápida y con muy bajo consumo, pero en lo que respecta al wifi se demora algo más en imprimir, siendo más perezosa en las impresiones inalámbricas. Respecto a los tóner incluidos, son de cortesía por lo que suelen incorporar una autonomía de unas 600-700 páginas por cada cartucho, y una vez que se replacen por los nuevos, su autonomía se duplicaría. Respecto al coste de los tóner es de los más económico. En general es muy buen aparato para su precio.

Acquistata in sostituzione del precedente modello 315 ormai rotto. La scelta e' caduta su questo modello in quanto wi-fi e quindi ha la possibilità di stampare anche da smartphone, tablet, notebook senza l'ingombro dei cavi da mettere e togliere in continuazione. La configurazione è abbastanza rapida. Un po' rumorosa e un po' lento l'avvio della prima copia (per il riscaldamento), poi si rivela rapida e di buona qualità. Un po' costosi i toner di ricambio in questa versione a colori, ma ci sono anche toner compatibili e meno costosi con la stessa qualità degli originali. La utilizzo sia con i sistemi Mac che Windows e i risultati sono buoni in entrambi i casi. Consigliata a chi ha necessità di una laser a colori low cost senza la pretesa di utilizzarla per un uso intensivo.
