Miracle-Gro 1002522 Indoor Plant Food Spike, 1.1 Ounce

Left a good 5-6 weeks after buying before reviewing. I put them in all my house plants and even the bedding flowers outdoors and honestly they’ve all come on a treat. My spider plant has rapidly produced babies and now have 4 potential newbies to propagate soon and my Calathea orbifolia which is an absolute drama queen, is now growing 5 new leaves. The outdoors are doing ok but we’ve had bad weather so.. hopefully they’ll shape up in the next few weeks but they’ve definitely come on.

These little spikes are so simple to use; just pop one in the soil and forget about it. My plants have definitely looked healthier and greener since using them. It’s mess-free and lasts for weeks. The only thing to watch is not overusing them, as they’re quite strong. Really handy for anyone who loves houseplants but doesn’t want to fuss with liquid feed.

Good product I would buy again

I'm really not sure how these performed but I am a fan of Miracle Gro in general. I used these on my houseplants instead of the crystals and can't say I've noticed any burst of growth like I'm used to when using the crystals, however, my plants look healthy enough. For ease of use it was a lot less messing about but next time I think I'll go back to the tried, tested and true method.

It's hard to say for sure whether and how the product works, but I want to believe that it has a good effect on the health of the plants. All in all, my plants remain healthy over time even though I don't change their soil unless I move a plant from one pot to a new one.

i had issues with the order delivery. I was unable to contact the shipping company so i raised this with seller and asked for help. They responded immediately and helped me reach out to shipping company and clarify the shipping. I then received my order swiftly within 24 hours. When the order arrived, I used the plant food spikes immediately, and just after 2 hours, i was able to see my plants revitalizing (leaves/stems hanging much higher and firmer). It's as if the plants woke up from sleep. i was very impressed and would recommend the product.

So far so good with my small to medium plants! Depending the size of your plant is what will determine if you think these are worthy or not. You need to have a few of them for larger pots, so if you have smaller pots then you don't need to use too many. To use you simply poke them into your soil and water! If your plant doesnt like it then you can remove the spike (but it will be a little goopy after wet). I was going to get granules instead but they were out of stock and I got these.
