Love it!
I absolutely love this wood slice, after reading some reviews stating it wasn’t real wood, I can categorically say it is real and a perfect base for my display.

It was fine. I should have got the next size up but it wasn't available. It does what I need it to do. I'll purchase again.

Fast delivery, light weight, looks real BUT...
it has a very strange smell a bit like polystyrene or a chemical nothing like a wood product?? It should be odourless or have a natural scent this just smells synthetic. It looks great but unfortunately due to the smell of it I shall be returning it. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting food on it. Also I couldn't get hold of seller easily to request a 20cm plate. I will be returning it and purchasing one from Hobbycraft which has a 20cm slice. Hopefully it doesn't have a strong odour of chemicals! UPDATE - Hobbycraft stand was smaller without the lovely wood effect around the edges, but smelled natural. The Amazon stand which has been out of it's packaging all this time has now lost it's smell, so have Decided to keep it! It's nicer and the smell has gone. Thankfully
