Can you use this in all three holes?

I use it in one hole wet clutch applications so not sure about the 3 separate hole thing

I ride an 04 Yamaha VStar 1100, the engine/tranny share the same oil. I switched to the full syn Lucas at about 35K. What I noticed was an immediate difference in shifting. Overall the drivetrain was slightly quieter, and 1st, then 3-5th shift "like butter." Second on this bike always shifted like a tractor.. not it's more like a Harley. This is a great oil for a motorcycle, I'd reccommend either this or a high performance diesel truck oil, which surprisingly works great in a motorcycle, designed for a high temp , high stress environment.

how long can you go between oil changes in a Twin Cam?

HD recommends every 5000 miles. The oil in your engine not only lubricates but also helps to cool the engine .Twin cam engines run hot for various reasons and cause very high oil temps.Frequent oil and filter changes are a cheap insurance to pay when you consider the cost of your Harley. I change the oil and filter at 3000 miles. I recommend you do not use engine oil in your primary and transmission contrary to what HD recommends.

As I’m sure you’re aware, most motorcycles run at higher temps and RPMs than truck engines do. This is a very good oil that is made to handle those extreme conditions. So, I think this oil will work extremely well in a truck engine that has a radiator and is thermostatically controlled.

Fast delivery and we'll packaged! Been using Lucas oil in my Harleys since the 80's. I've been using the synthetic over 10 years. Works very well for quieting the top end rattle that Harleys have. It's also a lot cheaper than Harley brand oil that the dealers want you to use.

Lucas Syn 20w50 maintains good oil pressure during hot engine idle as the mileage nears oil change time . A lot of other oils I've tried start loosing hot idle pressure around 3,000 Km . 2004 Harley Electra Glide .

Best oil there is, Use this on my 2014 Harley ultra limited, quieted the top end down a bit, and still looks good at the 5k interval oil change.
