Hotties Microhottie Microwave Hot Water Bottle - Pink Polyester Fleece

I've had one of these hotties before (previous one was bought from Tesco) and it lasted for about 4 years until I overheated it one night and it leaked! Whoops! Anyway, bought this one to replace it and it's wonderful. Don't listen to the reviews that say it only stays warm for 2 hours. I heated mine up when I went to bed at 10pm and it was still warm 4 hours later when I woke up. It needed a top up at that point but I think 4 hours is fab! Of course, do bear in mind that you keep each other warm! If you heat it up and then leave it on the side or on something cold then its going to get cold fairly quickly, but if you are hugging it then it stays warm for longer. Its a bonus that its pretty in pink, my other one was a nasty dirty cream colour! Can't praise it enough, invaluable for soothing those monthly cramps, ladies you know what im talking about! And of course great if you just want it to cosy up with on a cold evening. Buy it, its worth every penny (or pound!).

Had one of these before but unfortunately the older design of the cover meant it gaped open so I used to put a safety pin on it to stop this as you don't want the inner pad to touch skin. You've guessed it, a small hole so I had to get rid of it. Desperately wanted another as they are great for the kids when they were old enough to understand about the safety aspects of the product. No hot water to put in it and possibly leak, plus they were able to heat it up themselves in the microwave once told the correct time/temp setting. These instructions are also on the inner pad in case you forget. The new cover fits snuggly and overlaps better so no pad on show and I chose it in the great bright pink colour,soft fleece material which feels lovely against your skin. I love this product and would recommend highly. Great price too!

I've been buying these for over a decade. Absolutely brilliant, stay warm all night when used in bed as a traditional hot water bottle. I've used it on walks, in the car. I just wished they had a longer life - with regular use they last me a couple of years, so 4*

I bought this for my cat as he is old and arthritic. It was much thicker than I imagined. Unfortunately you cannot return this item! (You have been warned), so I persevered and he quite likes perching on the edge of it, on the sofa or his ‘bed’, With enough room for him to choose not to sit on or near it. This stays warm for quite a few hours, much longer than a hot water bottle. I put mine in an 800W (E) microwave for 3.30 minutes. It’s fine and doesn’t explode! But it does get nice and hot. Don’t think it’s particularly good value but reasonable considering its effectiveness.

The hottie is really good and is of course much safer than a traditional hot water bottle. I have two of these, one I gave to my mum who is 81 and has Alzheimer's so was not safe with a water bottle. This she can manage by herself just 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave and it is just right for her. I find it a little on the cool side for me but then I probably had the water in a hot water bottle far to hot! I just pop it back in the microwave for an extra 30 seconds if I want it warmer and it is fine. It stays warm for several hours. My microwave is quite small and I find that I have to fold the fabric over to get it to rotate in the microwave. I do not bend the pad inside though, I am not sure if this would damage the pad but I don't bend it just incase. If the cover should need a wash it dries very quickly. A word of warning though if you intend to give this to a young child I would sew velcro along the opening as little hands would quite easily find their way inside the cover and the pad is much hotter than it feels through the fabric and could quite easily burn their fingers. Overall I think this does what it should and stays warm long enough and it really isn't a problem to reheat it! I only gave it four stars because of the cover being to easy for children to get into. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if needed. **WARNING ** I have only heated this item for approx 20 times, the maximum time to heat for my microwave is 3 minutes. I have never left it in any longer. Tonight (Feb 15th 2010) it EXPLODED in the microwave, I had set the timer for 2 1/2 minutes but it exploded after only about 2 minutes. The smell is terrible.

I purchased a hottie some years ago just by chance when seeing it in a store. I like the idea as I use heat on my back to help with pain but I sleep on my back and a conventional hot water bottle was uncomfortable! I finally had to consign my hottie to the bin and started my search for a new one - I love Amazon, I knew I'd get one here! It gets nice and hot, sometimes if you give it a shake after removing it from the microwave this helps to spread the heat. I also find that it stays hot all night long. I would highly recommend this product.

I have had a Microhottie for a few years and use it quiet often so thought I would get another before my old one 'died' on me, I would be lost without it. They are so easy to use just stick in the microwave and in 2 minutes you can cuddle up in bed snug and warm. They are good for the elderly and those who are not too steady with thier hands as there is no hot water too worry about. I highly recommend it.

I bought my hottie a while ago and I love it! Quick to heat in microwave and great for warming bed and bedtime. Also if it's cold and working at computer will put the hottie on my lap plus a fleece throw over me for keeping cosy.

Ottima , si scalda al micronde in un minuto e mezzo. Mantiene il calore per ore . Da utilizzare con il copri borsa altrimenti si rischia di scottarsi.

toutes utilisations de réchauffement et pour moi principalement lorsqu'il fait froid pour me mettre au lit. Il va sans dire que les besoins de soulagements de douleurs sont aussi importants, vue la souplesse du produit . Par contre, Amazon m'a ré- envoyé et prélevé une 2e commande de 2 bouillotes que je n'ai ABSOLUMENT pas pu retourner , ni me faire rembourser. CELA n'est pas professionnel.

L'ho utilizzata per gli impacchi al seno in allattamento. È picca, si scala velocemente, l'involucro esterno aiuta a non scottarsi. Molto più comoda della classica boule ad acqua.

È un buon prodotto... Un pochino pesante e rigido per le mie esigenze (lo uso soprattutto per la sindrome mestruale)... Ma cmq pratico!
