I love this clock! For the last 10 years, I’ve used my phone as an alarm clock. However, I don’t like the idea of my phone being so close to my body 24-7, and I’ve always been curious about light-emitting alarm clocks… so I purchased this one after looking at the reviews. The light setting is incredible. You can set how early before your alarm is scheduled for it to start lighting your room. It’s a much gentler way of awakening—BY FAR! Granted, I’m sensitive to light while I sleep (I use blackout curtains at night) so it works great for me. I searched through all of the reviews to see if the added relaxing sounds can also be used for alarm sounds. Alas, the answer is no, and for obvious reasons. (One doesn’t want a relaxing sound as an alarm to pull one out of a relaxed state.) With 8 different alarm tones, though, there’s enough variety for me. Plus, you can change the volume of the alarm, brightness of the light, color of the light, duration of light and snooze….. and there are two different alarm times you can set—I have one for weekdays and one for weekends. I’m still often changing what time I want to awaken, but it’s easy and quick. I can easily do it with the lights off. Anyhow.., there are great features on this clock. My husband and I love the different light settings for the evening. It makes a fabulous reading lamp, as well. Also, a huge plus is that customer service is incredible. I had one small problem that they fixed immediately! I was very impressed with their kindness and care. Thanks for a great click! Well worth the $!

I bought this clock to make is easier for me to get up earlier in the morning and it does everything I could have hoped for and more, (except for making me a cup of coffee)! Using a dawn wake up light in addition to a sounding alarm has made waking up less jarring/more pleasant. The good news/bad news: there are many many features to choose from, which means that for this item it's helpful to keep the instruction manual handy. Yet the ability to customize it in so many ways is one of the things that makes it great. The different sounds that are available for use as alarms sound better than the ones I've heard in other digital clocks, for example the bird chirping sounds that I use as an alarm are realistic enough to make my cat sniff around for the bird in the bedroom. And as the seasons change, I've been able to adjust the timing and intensity of the dawn light to a level that works best for me. While I bought this as an alarm clock, I've been pleasantly surprised by the usefulness of the many sleeptimer features; being able to set a low light to read without disturbing others, being able to adjust this light to different levels and intensities, and being able to set a number of different sleeptime sounds/white noises. I can see this clock being very helpful in an infant/child's bedroom. Full disclosure: after a few months of use I noticed that the clock's charging plug wasn't staying in consistently, possibly because of loose connection in the interior. I emailed customer service; they responded right away, were VERY polite and helpful, and immediately replaced the clock. So I can confirm that the company honors its warranty. I would definitely buy this clock again.

My old alarm clock annoyed me in multiple ways. First, the digital display was too bright at night, even on the lowest setting. I used to keep a t-shirt on top of it to darken my room at night. Second, the sound quality was terrible (which was to be expected, it was a cheap alarm clock). Third, when I wake up extremely early in the morning, I would have to get out of bed and feel my way around my room over to my alarm clock to turn it off, hoping I wouldn't stub my toe or walk into a dresser corner as my room is nearly pitch black. This alarm clock has solved all of these problems. I keep the number display turned off, so my room is completely dark at night how I like it. The sound quality is much improved over my old alarm clock. Is it a Bose speaker? No, but at this awesome price point, I'm very happy with the sound quality for the money. I LOVE the light in the morning as it allows me to see in my room when I get out of bed, and it also helps me start to wake up a bit too. I also love that you can adjust the amount of time that the light turns on before the alarm sound starts. Personally ten minutes is fine for me, but I like that you can go all the way to an hour. I would note that the light will start that many minutes before the alarm time you set. So if you set your alarm for 6am with an hour long light cycle, the light will turn on red at 5am and the alarm sound will play at 6am when the light is at full brightness. Personally, I am using the radio as my wake-up sound because I like that it's different every day. Plenty of stations to choose from as well. I also am liking the mood lighting feature. The color display is very cool and I like how many different color settings there are, and you can switch between solid colors or the ones that blend different colors together and change constantly. Very cool feature that I have been using. I haven't used the sleep feature as of yet as I usually just listen to podcasts on headphones to go to sleep, but I may in the future. Overall, I'm loving this thing. It's a huge improvement over my previous alarm clock, and I'm not looking back.

this is a long review so stay with me- i was going to get a Hatch and had added it to our wedding registry and no one purchased it i also found out you have to pay for their app in order to use most of the features, so after reading lots of reviews for similar products this one seemed like the best bang for my buck and i don’t need to rely on the app, blue tooth, or even electricity because it has a back up battery AND even if it does go out, i realized it keeps the set time and the alarms set!? i assume because of the back up battery? the aesthetics can use some updating- i got white because the grey would not match my room and wish they offered a fabric or wood look alternative so it didn’t look so… cheap? for lack of a better word. i saw this company offered a 2 pack with the grey one and a tan one but they didn’t offer it as an option for a 1 pack. so i stuck with white but wish it was prettier/ matched my room at least..it was hard finding a clock that was bright, pretty, and had all the features i wanted, but this one still looked nicer than i was anticipating (attached photos). next, this alarm clock has sooo many light settings, and quite a few soothing sounds like rain/water etc for night time use as well as a sleep timer- which i’ve used every night so far! i do believe the rain sounds could use some updating but i have an app on my phone for that too and just play them both honestly. i was looking at a similar clock the “momcozy” for that feature so was pleased when this one had it too. another great feature is that you can also dim the time on the face so it is darker at night !! the only down fall is you cant change what light setting you wake up to- it’s always the sun mimic yellow to bright white (but you can adjust the light brightness) i also saw another review that stated you cant wake up to the radio setting, but some how i did figure out how to make that feature work (or they updated the product) and you can indeed listen to the radio as the morning alarm! i had it further away, but moved it closer to me so even though i’m not getting out of bed to turn it on, the light is still bright enough to wake me up enough that i’m actually up!! it was a jump scare the first day but i knew what to expect the second morning around. that being said, i notice that when the clocks brightness/sun feature is in use in the morning IT DOESNT SHOW THE TIME- or if it does you just can’t see it ?? update that and this would easily be a 5star clock.

This is a great alarm clock! I love the sunrise alarm and you can wake up with that AND a calming sound like waves or chirping birds or FM radio!!! At night I use the nature sounds (there are 20+ to choose from) to relax. I also love the RGB feature which allows you to add or do separately a light therapy relaxing setting. At bedtime I use the nature sounds and sleep timer to relax into sleep :) Had a small issue but Jall was WONDERFUL and took care of me right away. Highly recommend!

I was amazed by the amount of functions the alarm clock offers. At first I thought it was simply a sunrise alarm clock, but after using it, I learned that there were a plethora of addition functions, including a radio, reading lamps and different wake up sounds to pick from. I use this everyday for the feature that caught my eye, and led to buy this product. I am more than satisfied with just the wake up light that mimics sunrise, gradually getting brighter, allowing me to wake up energized for school, without the feeling of being forced to wake up. After having completely abandoned the alarm clock on my phone, I was able to wake up less groggy and start my morning already feeling better than I used to. Most of the settings are customizable, and adjustable to your liking, including the volume, light intensity, sunrise duration, as well as different light options to choose from as a bedside lamp. Currently, I enjoy waking up the sounds of birds chirping and using the red light lamp option before bed to read without affecting my sleep rhythm. Most importantly, their customer service is the best I have ever seen. They offer a life time warranty, and even though I broke the cover myself, they have offered to send a replacement for free, which is why I highly recommend to give it a try and see for yourself!

You've read the other reviews (if you didn't then you should, it's shopping research 101 and they all have very useful things to say) so you will likely by now know about the features it offers, such as very customisable alarm scheduling and the new model having expanded options for the looping sounds you can choose as the alarm, as well as the new option to not have any sound play. This part becomes important. I'd wanted to get a sunrise alarm clock for our toddler's bedroom in order to try and keep him within his already pretty well self-established hours of waking in the mornings as well as giving him some light to use to see if he wanted to get out of bed and play, as he would otherwise be sitting at 7:30am in a dark room and that's no fun. This clock - the previous model, actually - came highly rated by several sources and soon was on our kid's bookshelf. The schedualing is nice, the sounds not so much but I've already alluded to why having no sound playing during the 'alarm' is a good feature. I've rated this as a 5 out of 5 and while I stand by that, there are a couple minor caveats that I need to add. I originally set the alarm up to play birds chirping however, upon the designated time next morning I awoke to hear the sound playing from his room the floor below ours, even on the quietest setting. It also looped a little too regularly so was noticable as being an alarm rather than pleasant ambiance. As a result it was a little irritating. I set the clock to instead next time have the light gently fade up leading to the chosen time but to have no sound play. I've not needed to change anything since. Our 2 year old, if not already stirring at 7:30, has a gentle glow sgtart to fade up over the course of 30 minutes until reaching it's peak at 8:00 - a peak brightness that you can choose, too, so you don't have to be forced to stare into the sun and can instead have a nice warm glow. So yeah, the alarm sound is 'loud' at the lowest volume but the radio is a little quiet at the lowest, and bringing it up to the next makes it a little too loud if just going to be next to it. If that makes sense? It's minor and may only be an issue for me but if using the radio as an alarm sound, rather than an every day radio, it's liekly not a problem and will suit it fine. The other minor thing is the color lights. You can press a button at any time and can turn on the 'sunrise' light so you have an ornage-yellow glow. Press it again to turn it off. However, press the other light button for the color-changing light effects then press that button and it will cycle through the different light effects. You'd have to press the sunrise button to switch to that first and then press the sunrise button again to turn the light off. I understand why it does that - so you can cycle the effects - but even now I'll forget that it won't turn off the rainbow effect and I end up cycling through them instead of turning it off. I've come to only using that light effect on rare occasions. But yep, for use as a silent sunrise light for our toddler, it's a 5/5 product and very happy with it!

I really liked this alarm clock when I received it. It was modern and had a great set of features. I was specifically looking for an alarm clock that had dual alarms, and this one did. My issue: Once the alarm was set, it wouldn't play. I followed the instructions, and I was able to get the alarm to play, but only when I reset the alarm going through all of the settings individually. If I shut the alarm off, and then reset the alarm by pressing the alarm 1 (or 2) button, the alarm icon appeared, and I expected the alarm to play at the time I set it for. That didn't happen. I thought this was a defect, but I had 2 of the same clock shipped to me, so I tested it on the other one and it did the same thing. I know it sounds like you can work around the alarm not setting, but once you went through reapplying all of the settings (time, alarm sound, volume...etc), then you have an alarm clock icon flashing, and some Zzzz's on the screen flashing. I really don't want flashing lights on the display when I'm going to bed. Once the alarm is set the first time, you should be able to select the alarm 1 or alarm 2 button by pressing the button one time until the icon appears. I actually liked the sound options available with this alarm, which was an issue with the other 3 alarms I returned.

For some reason, all you will see is just a bright light every time you plug it in, can't see the clock, can't turn the light off. Unfortunately a waste of money.

Really liked this one. It certainly helps during the darker months. But the clock display has disappeared after just over a year. So hugely disappointing product.

All the buttons does not work and no USB charger . The quality is very bad
