Aquatic Underlay 4m x 2m Sheet (8 sq.m) for use with pond liner.

Good cheap underlay which is reasonably thick and should protect expensive liners from sharp stones.

Followed the instructions as advised; Prepare Hole (removing any stones etc) - I had help but be prepared as there is a lot of soil to remove for this size liner!! Cover with a layer of sand ( I used Building Sand which is quite soft and was also the cheapest in local DIY store) Lined with this Fleece Aquatic Underlay Then lined with waterproof liner from same Vendor All went perfectly One note on the Seller - I messed up my initial order by selecting the incorrect delivery address. I contacted the seller and they (in particular Nuala) could not have been more helpful. After a couple of emails everything was sorted and the items on their way to me. Would happily recommend them.

Firstly, the delivery service from Bradshaws Direct was fantastic. When I placed the order it was quoted as a 7-9 day delivery estimate. The item arrived the next day!! The product itself is of a very basic quality - probably to be expected at this price bracket (£15.92 for 4mx2m). The fabric is a non-woven, compressed-fibre material (similar to felt) but less than 1mm thick. You can easily see light through it so the fibre density is pretty low. I only wanted it as an underlay for a tarpaulin to prevent any objects with sharp edges cutting the tarp. I'm sure this will be fine. Whether I would rely on this product as the sole underlay for a very expensive butyl rubber pond liner is questionable. I think I would want something thicker, with a higher fibre density.

Seems good for its purpose.
