It really works!
Amazing product it hides and blends all the blemishes. I used it on a wooden bed which had been scratched by my cat. Thank you.

Works a treat - MOST of the time!
This is my second time using Tableau. I have previously bought the medium shade. On the whole it’s excellent (as you can see from the pictures of my very tatty tantalus!) I find touching up individual scratches more difficult because it’s harder to blend it in to match the existing wood but even so I have used it in that way. What I prefer to do is slap it over the whole surface which works a treat. Sometimes I need to do a second or third ‘pass’ over a particularly bad scratch but the piece always comes out looking much better than when I started. I’ve just ‘Tableau-d’ a whole chest of drawers bought for peanuts at auction which was very tired, marked and scratched. It’s now sitting in my living room! I have no idea what’s in this stuff - there is no odour and it’s very thin but if you get it on your fingers there’s definitely an oily residue. Both medium and dark are very ‘red’ in the bottle so always test first. Don’t use it on pine - it just doesn't work. You’re better off sanding that back and applying Briwax. On the whole it’s an excellent product to have in your arsenal if, like me, you buy (and sell) lots of tired, tatty furniture and for the price you can have one of each colour ready to go!

It’s good but not a miracle
It’s easy to use and covers small scratches well and scuffs, anything deep or long I would use a wax fill first. However, the product took the attention off obvious scratches on wood floor so happy with the results.

Wow, Completely Amazed!
So, just had a very expensive oak floor fitted downstairs. I then thoughtlessly tried to moved my corner sofa into the correct position and yes you've guessed it, a number of large scratches shallow appeared. I was devastated! I then searched online and found this stuff on Amazon Prime. I bought the light wood shade and dabbed a tiny bit on the scratches. The scrstches instantly looked far less noticeable. I then wiped off the excess and buffed with another cloth to dry a little as it tends to leave the area a little greasy. Once it had all soaked in and fully dried it looked even better. The scratches have now disappeared and you'd never know. However, these were very shallow scratches. There was a couple of tiny deeper ones which I have no idea how they occured but this stuff has still disguised them. These deeper ones do look a little darker since applying the scratch cover but they blend in perfectly and just look like the natural makings in the wood. So I do recommend this product for large shallow and small deeper scratches but I would look for other solutions for larger deeper scratches. I really wish I'd taken before and after pics but I'm afraid you'll just have to take my word for it. If it happens again I'll film a video. This stuff has made one stressed out home owner extremely happy.

Very effective, but will need further application in due course
I have used this to conceal the mark left by a container of liquid on a polished pine dresser. I had previously treated this with another product, only to see the ring return after a few days so I was not too confident that this would be any more effective. Initially the product seemed to be too dark but I spread it well into the watermark and surrounding area, blending it well, and now it is almost impossible to see the original mark. I carried out this treatment about four weeks ago and so far so good, so I am hopeful that the problem has been solved. Job done! (Update six months later). The ring does gradually return but another application deals with it effectively. I have now also used this on unvarnished pine which had a number of water marks with good results. Again though I am expecting the marks to return eventually so it seems this works for a while but you do have to reapply at intervals.

Worked a charm
I deliberated between this and the wood markers but I am immensely glad I chose this! It worked so magically that I couldn't stop finding tiny blemishes to touch up. I bought it to use on a cherry/mahogany antique table that I'd scratched; in some places the scratches were a few millimetres wide. It went on just like an oil or polish, attaching to those blemishes and staining them. I put on a few coats, until the colour was dark enough. The wide scratches still aren't *invisible* but are much less noticeable when you look at the table, and the thin scratches are completely gone. And the process was so easy - you'd be hard pressed to do it wrong. All in all, if you're looking at this I think you should stop your search here - just make sure you get the right colour for your needs!

Regrets... absolutely NOT for deep marks
This ruined even more my scratched floor. This product is not only unsuitable for deep scratches, but it manages to make things so much worse. I wish I knew this before buying it. You can see in the picture how the scratches look a lot worse and deeper after application in comparison to the part where I didn't apply it. I'd be ok if it simply didn't work, but was not expecting to make things worse. They should warn that it can make some scratches worse than before. It should be clear if this is just for superficial scratches. Don't buy it, it's absolutely not worth the risk.

It works.
We have an antique desk that is four generations old and an intern on the farm scratched it in the front. Dang. This made the scratch completely invisible. Wiped it on very thinly a couple of times and the scratch is gone.
