Purchased a part of birthday present for my son who loves aviation things. He had had regular airfix in past and its gets messy this is a fun clean tidy and most importantly gluess alternative with the same well similar end result

My seven year old grandson loves Lego and enjoyed putting this together with a little help from mum. It was robust enough to play with afterwards, carry around all day and then sit on a shelf in the bedroom alongside other models. Didn’t take long to build but cheap enough as a present when they came to visit for the weekend compared to a trip to a theme park !!

This was bought as a present for a 9yr old boy who loved it & other models in the airfix quick build series. The first kit unfortunately had a piece missing & two duplicate other pieces but was exchanged by the stockist & replaced with another with no issues!

Quick and efficient service. This is a high-quality product from two of the best-known suppliers, i.e. Lego and Airfix. The fitting together is perfect as expected from Lego and the finish by Airfix is first class. Highly recommended for youngsters and old ones alike. No worries about getting it wrong - just undo the bits and re-assemble.

Nice product, easy to assemble only problem is stickers tend to come off if product handled too much

My son was delighted with this, he could build it all by himself and it looks great on display in his room.

I built Airfix kits as a kid, using my weekly 'spends' to buy kits. I showed some kits to my grandson, suggesting we give the quick start kits a go, both being Lego fans, as these kits have a Lego build about them. The kits ok, nothing overly special when compared to Lego. I can see the idea Airfix have gone for here, but I can't say he was impressed. When built it looks ok. The decals are difficult to apply and are almost invisible when on, so will leave it before trying another kit.

My 6 year old loves building these. The instructions are very simple to follow and he managed to do this with no assistance from me. He even managed to put the stickers/decals on by himself.

GREAT VALUE AND QUALITY. Airfix is very good model company. These snap together models are ideal for 8 and up. My 8 year old put it together in less than 45 minutes. The snap together tank tracks took a little longer ,but they stay together. An adult will need to help adjust them a little. You can YouTube it to see how easy it is to assemble. He was super excited at his first 1/35 scale tank. I highly recommend this brand . Stay away from those block builds for this age group. The helicopter was a piece of cake to put together for my 10yr old. The tank was a little more because of the track system was a little more complicated but I help my 8yr old through it and he was very happy with outcome. Good buy on both items.

Gamme de produit Airfix que j'utilise pour faire découvrir le modélisme aux enfants. C'est un mix intéressant entre le Lego et la maquette en plastique. Un ado ou un adulte peuvent également trouver leur bonheur, et les plus exigeants peuvent refaire la déco car les peintures a maquettes habituelles (humbrol, revell, Prince August,) accroche plutôt bien.

Product as described and fairly easy to assemble for an 11 year old on his birthday!

Fond memories as a kid myself over laboring over model kits, glue, paint, stickers etc. Now my son has lept into the model kit world and we have found these Airfix kits a great way to introduce him to modeling as a hobby. These kits are very well put together and the pieces fit perfectly and being that they assemble similar to Lego it was an easy fit for him. The stickers, however, are tiny and I had to jump in with a toothpick to help out. Overall though, these are fantastic and we have now purchased all available quickbuild kits that Airfix offers. My son is constantly asking if they have released any new ones yet. For the price the fun factor is off the charts good. Very recommended.
