Do these work on a match striker? Safety matches don’t!

No, I found I couldn’t strike them on anything but the match box.

Are they wooden or cardboard

From memory they are wooden as they were quite strong and burn the same as a mormal match. I think you have to light them from an ordinay flame of a match or lighter.

are these matches sulphur free?

Sorry, I have no idea and I have looked for the box everywhere I can think of but as I bought it Jan 2018, I think they have probably all been used. They do sell them on e-bay you may get more information there?

Are these safety matches?

Not totally sure what you mean. Long long matches, strike top on edge and they obviously take long time to burn anywhere near fingers allowing a flame to be placed into whatever you are setting alight from a distance.
