5-Pack Women's Athletic Mesh Shorts 5" Inseam, Ladies Loose Pull-On Shorts with Zipper Pockets

Finally after many tries, I found the athletic shorts that are perfect for me. Light and comfortable, the fit is perfect, the length is perfect and as a bonus, tie strings and zip up pockets. Colors are great too!!! I can see they will be easy to wash as well.

These shorts are AMAZING!! So comfortable, don’t crawl up when walking, and the mid thigh length makes it perfect for my daughter’s recent knee surgery that requires her to have a full licked in brace. These shorts are easy for her to pull up and put down on her own while brace is on.

I bought these shorts because I wanted some basic shorts that I can wear to A) walk on my walking pad in the morning and B) walk the dog after work. I sought out 'basketball' shorts because I find the material to be soft, cooling, and non-chafing. These are pretty nice. They're lined, they wick sweat away, and they prevent thigh chafing. They're the perfect length (I am petite, and they're mid-thigh so that's pretty good) and the colors are just as they appeared online. I like that they have pockets (large enough for a few poop bags and maybe a house key or two) even though the zippers feel a bit like they'll probably break after a few uses. The elastic band inside of the waist feels like it is too 'narrow' for the waistline, almost like they 'cheaped out' on what we consumers cannot see. I have a perimenopausal belly (I look 7 months pregnant). This, paired with the too-narrow elastic inside of the waist band = a snug pair of shorts (around the belly only). I got a Large, and wish I had sized up one size to accommodate the meno belly. But: wearing these each day will motivate me to continue my efforts to lose the meno belly.

Mostly as expected. It's two layer shorts. Mesh outside layer and a silky inside layer. The zipper pockets are ok. The zipper is very stiff but I just leave them unzipped and use like a regular pocket. The option to zip closed the pockets is nice though. Biggest problem is the uncomfortable waistband. It's the elastic material around the inside of the waistband instead of the silky material. This is itchy and hot and just got a great feeling. I think they really dropped the ball here by not covering it. You can roll the band to avoid this. Also, size is slightly on the small side. I'm normally a filled out large for shorts, like at Walmart, but I had to get an XL for these. The large were far too tight.

These are really nice shorts and they fit to size. I bought a large because I'm always afraid things will be too small...these aren't. They're going to be nice and loose and cool for the summer. The shorts look EXACTLY like the picture. Worth noting, though, is that they say they're "lined" but they don't have a panty lining, like with elastics at the legs as you'd expect when you hear "lined" it's rather that the fabric is doubled so you can't see through the holes. You'll still have to wear undies with these. Other than that, I'm super happy with these shorts. Highly recommend.

I bought for my 13 year old. Fits nicely. A little see through but she wears spandex shorts underneath.
