Works great haven't had any problems with it. I use it alot for quick solder and pipe sweating work in cramped spaces. Also great for the price. My last one I got from power probe the set cost over $100 but lasted 25 years hopefully this one will last as long. I got the torch only this time because I still had the different fittings from my power probe set and they fit this one and this one also fit in the case. This one also has 2 types of flame. I recommend it . Why pay 4 times more for something that is just as good for less cash. Remember to turn it off when done with what you are doing . It like the PP one dont have a safety auto shut off. So if you lay it down while still on the outcome won't be good. Have a great day- mbs

AWESOME! If you solder or do any type of electronic work like I do, this little torch will become invaluable to you. The main reason for writing this review is that I’ve even through no less than 5 different versions of “mini torch’s” as there are so many listed for sale on here. I can tell you that this is hands down the highest quality of all. It’s very well made, has a nice adjustable pinpoint flame, is easy to fill and feels good in the hand. Very nice quality all around. It’s really easy to use, just fill it up, turn the dial and push the button!

I picked up the RAVS Butane Torch Lighter, DUAL Flame Mode Cooking Torch for kitchen use and I’m pretty happy with how it performs. It lights quickly and reliably, and the dual-flame modes (single and dual jet) give enough control for broiling, caramelizing, or searing. The refillable butane setup is convenient and the torch feels sturdy in hand. My only minor gripe: the fuel reservoir is a bit small — so I find myself refilling more often than I’d like if I’m using it a lot. Also, while the flame adjustment works fine, the built-in safety lock can be a little finicky when adjusting flame strength. Overall: a useful, affordable torch for home cooking, baking, or light DIY — just don’t expect professional-grade performance.

!UPDATE! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ITS GARBAGE. After posting my reviews less than an hour ago it has since completely broke as shown in the second pic, fall from the top of a table subsequently cause the head to completely revealing it's held together with cold joints (material being joined wasn't hot enough to create a solid weld/solder joint. And of course since Amazon sucks with their support these days and going by previous reviews I'm now out a the cost of the torch but with no torch now. this torch was great until it decided to start spitting out a second flame.... from the side. I've had this for under 3 months now I believe it been now and I was loving it cause all my torches like this end up looking how this one does but with all metal construction where it counts. While torching a bit of material I was working with I noticed when I went to turn off the gas feed a tongue of blue flame shoot out the side from the fuel line. seeing this I decided to see what was going on and applied a built of soapy water in the area and sure enough bubbles were growing and popping filled with butane gas from one of the seems. I've had my fair share of torches over the years including one by Ronson that lasted close to 8yrs always being reliable no matter the beating it took and only was replaced with this one due to not being able to find a new gasket oring for it. had a lot of high expectations for this torch since it seemed durable but guess I was wrong and it's just a prissy princess that despite its rugged build will try and burn you if it's not told its pretty. I want to hit the seem with a weld of solder but I'm holding off on that in case I'm told that I'm 5h1t out of luck by support or the vendor. will update on resolution
