Perfect for Garmin Etrex 22x
Fits perfectly with my garmin etrex 22x. Very easy to use with multiple different ways to detach/pull the GPS off when needed. Very high quality with a really strong velcro. NOTE: The cord I received with mine is different than pictured (tan coil vs. black string cord) but I like the version I received better! It has a long stretch and coils up nicely when not in use. Not sure why I got a different cord but I’m certainly not complaining.

3 Month Review
I've been using this product every week, twice a week, for the last three months and it's worked great. Firm hold on the backpack strap, easy bayonet on and off, firm hold on GPS. I'm using a Garmin inReach 66i. The clip that attaches to the GPS has a tight hold. Some people may find it a little too tight, but if you lift up on the tab that sticks out and push along the clip, it comes off. Check the cord ties on the clip and the shoulder strap mount. These knots can work lose. All in all I would recommend this product.

Really Worth It
This was well worth the money. Was using agarmin belt clip to do hold my rino gps in place while i moved around. but it would end up swinging around or popping off when i make swift movements. had thought about want to make something like this myself but never got to it. so when i saw it. had to buy it asap. no my rino is secure and snug to my backpack. it really helps with the overall balance of my load out. highly reccommend it if you thinking about it. my only negative would be the width of the flaps of velcro. depending on ur bag. it could be pushing the velcro clasp for connection. but that is still a very small minus if any.

Better than expected.
I wasn't sure at first if I'd like this mount. But after several biking and hiking adventures I have to say it's easy and convenient. And so far I have not had any issue with the unit being jolted off the mount.

Very well made, but frustrating operation
As noted in the headline, the Tusita strap mount is very well constructed of quality materials. After that though, I've found its use to be frustrating and potentially damaging to the GPSMAP67i that I'm using it with. The attachment to the backpack strap is secure, but the attachment is so wide that it really limits where you can put it. On both my North Face backpack and my various day packs, it interferes with the sternum cross strap for mid-chest attachment. If I put it higher (when that's possible) it makes it too hard to reattach the GPS after use, and I fumble around or even end up taking my pack off to reattach. If I place the mount lower on my shoulder strap, then I find that I can knock the GPS loose just by walking, pushing through brush, or bouncing my knee against if if I lean over or kneel down. The tether strap has prevented the GPS from hitting rocks from an unplanned dismount a few times now. I'd really like to find a place to use this, it seems like a great accessory and it's very well executed. However, at this juncture it takes longer for me to access and reattach the GPS for a quick look than just using the standard carabiner clip that comes with the Garmin. I'm going to fiddle with it some more, but to those contemplating purchase, take a look to see if it's compatible with your style of backpack.

45° vs 90°
This has been great for switching back and forth from my bike mount to my shoulder strap. The image does show 90° turn to lock it in, but does say it’s 45° which it is. I wish it was the 90° like my bike mount to be more secure, however it has stayed in place. I do like this mount.
