Rain dungarees

We got these trousers for our 9 months old, in blue. A brief review below: SIZE and FIT When arrived these seemed on a large side and a bit too baggy. However, the trousers have adjustable and elasticated suspenders, and buttons at waist level to adjust the fit better. Also they have elasticated bands at the feet to prevent from riding up. When all adjusted the trousers are just baggy enough to nicely fit over the regular trousers, and allow for all the movements that a toddler needs to feely run around. The cuffs are elasticated too, and elastic enough to fit over wellies. The trousers are high, well above the waist level, which prevents the water getting under the coat above the waist level. Great for using slides after the rain :) EFFECTIVENESS: Never got a wet bottom when using these :) Cannot recommend enough. Granted, they are most likely not breathable, but would you really expect this for the price? DURABILITY: Material seems very durable but at the same time very soft and flexible. Used several times and haven't had a problem yet. I got these dungarees / rain pants for my four-year old son, who loves splashing in puddles.. I got them in 5-6 years' size so that he could get at least a year's wear out of them. They are a bit big for him, as expected, but not overly so - meaning that what with the scrunched up, elasticated cuffs at the bottom, the buttons at the side (to adjust the fit at waist level), and the adjustable suspenders, the pants fit him nicely and I expect they will fit him well for a good while yet. I love the soft, yet strong feel of the waterproof material, the vibrant colour, and the reflective strips. They also come with some elastic, adjustable bands to be used under boots' soles, to make sure the pant legs don't ride up, if the kids wear them out, but we seem to have misplaced one (I may contact the seller to see if I can get a spare one; will update if I get a response).. In any case, my son tucks the pants inside his wellies, or just wears them loose over the boots - no problem, anyway. We love these pants.! He stays dry and he loves wearing them, so fit for purpose and cool-looking... Highly recommended..!

The trousers arrived as promised. I bought them for a weekend out and we were expecting the location to be very rainy and muddy. We didn't get to use them for this weekend but actually am looking forward for another occasion and get my son to wear them. They are of a very good quality, nice color, soft fabric, a bit stretchy and very well done. My son is 19months old and he's always been a bit bigger than boys of his age, so I went for size 18-24 which is too large for him. But it's not such a big problem as it has 2 snap buttons on each side just below the underarms. The shoulder straps are also adjustable and at the other end the strong elasticated hem seems to be keeping my son's legs mud-proofed if wore on top of his wellies. There is also a strap but I don't think I'll use it at this stage as the trousers are a bit long so no chance they will roll up the leg. What is more important is that they seem very easy to clean/dry because of the fabric used. It seems that a damp cloth can be used to clean them and then wiped with a dry cloth. I will update more once my son gets to use them. I would definitely consider these trousers a good buy.

Absolutely fantastic!! Great quality, my daughter wears this to the beach, the farm, you name it. She is always dry even in really bad rain the water doesn't go through. The only time it went through a little was when she fell into the sea, which i think is fair enough. Really good adjustable straps and buttons on the sides. It qas way to big for my daughter who is 18months and i adjusted straos etc and now fits well and will last her ages. Fab price, fab product! Will buy again!

These dungarees are exactly what I needed. My daughter is a bum shuffler/crawler so I needed something for her to scoot around the garden in regardless of weather conditions. They’re lovely and thin so really flexible and will fit anything underneath. The sizing is quite bizarre. I ordered a 74 because she’s exactly 74cm at 14 months old, however when it arrived the packaging stated that it was for 6-9months- not that that was a problem. It’s definitely worthwhile measuring the child’s height though! The 74 has got loads of growing room and I think will last her for some time as the adjustable straps have got plenty of length left. The poppers at the side are adjustable too so should fit even as her tummy expands. Superb product!!

I really like these! With a rain jacket and some wellies my little boy will keep lovely and dry and can play in any weather - it's very good quality material, and looks very durable too,which is important in avoiding rips and things. It is larger than a 2-3 yr old sized outfit generally, but having read the other reviews I expected that, and am glad I'll be getting more than one season's use out of it - the foot straps are optional (button on), so can be left off and pants folded or pinned up until he's bigger - the side snaps adjust for a smaller/bigger mix and the waistband is also part elasticated, so it makes a good fit.

Bought smallest size available (9-12 m.) for my 15-month-old son. He is quite small for his age (5%-10%), and I know rain gear runs big already, so I wasn't sure that even the 9-12-month size would work for him. So hard to find rain gear sized for babies!!! This suit is really roomy on him and almost too long to work, but by putting the adjustable sides on the tightest notch, tightening the shoulder straps to the max, and pushing up the legs quite a bit (the elastic cuffs are very firm--a good thing--and hold tight around a boot so you can shorten the leg a lot without "rolling" the pant legs up), these work great. I think they will fit him next year as well, since they are so adjustable and have so much length and width left for him that I can let out as needed... I have washed these several times as well, following washing instructions, and they come out perfectly. They are from a German company, I believe, and you can see it in the extra care put into the thoughtful details and the good finishing of the garment. Highly recommend--you will be pleased with these!

Its great quality for far too large. We will eventually use it but will need to find something else to wear now.

Much better quality than I expected but sizing is bigger than I hoped. Bought an 18 - 2yr size for my 21 month old granddaughter and she won't be able to wear it for at least 6 months, but she will also get another full season out of it. Better a bit big than too small! Took way longer than I thought it would to get here.
