Totally worth it! Transforms the whole backyard
Really happy with this purchase! The quality is great and it feels very stable. It handled a bit of wind just fine and looks amazing on my patio. It’s exactly what I was looking for to upgrade my outdoor space. Shipping was fast too. Highly recommend!

Happy wife happy life!
Hubby decided it was better to put this together while I was at work. Said that he wanted to try and stay married a little while longer to me 🤣😂. His review about this is: actually pretty simple to put together. He started around 11 am and when I got home at 6 pm all I had to help with was the curtains and the mounting to the porch. He said doing it himself gave him time to look over all the pieces and parts to ensure he had them. Allowed him time to put the legs together, then the rails for the top, then the rails for the roof and so on. The quality of it is kinda light weight and could possibly dent easily if very strong winds got going and through some stuff around. The roof is great to be able to see some light transparently through but not clear enough to see all of the leaves on the trees or the clouds in the sky. We had a very good rain the last couple of days and the roof didn’t leak, the curtains are not water resistant but do keep you from being super soaked. Me being the wife and wanting a place to hang out in the summer. This is great. It looks good, it’s made well enough, the warranty you can buy make good piece of mind. So I am satisfied and thankful my husband is happy because of that 🤣!

Nice gazebo
We finally got this thing up. For reference, we are 2 women, in our 40s and 50, no special skills, decent tools on hand. That means if we can do it anyone can assemble too. The instructions were spot on for the most part, we took our time. Altogether, we spent a full Sunday (about 10-11 hours) and half a day assembling it. Overall, it seems like a nice product that hopefully will last a while. As most reviews state, it is a good idea to not screw everything super tight. However, I think it's just as important to know when to tighten fully because you won't be able to get to that certain spot later. Other issues noted, mainly quality control related. One roof edge (labeled as Ds) did not have a screw slot welded into it. This means that when it came time to secure the roof edging at one corner point, it was just an open space with nothing to catch on to and thus would not secure the roof panel. We fixed this by using a 3/16 toggle bolt that went inside the open space snugly and then screwed into that. That held it together. The panels remind me of cardboard and one of them had a deep dent in it but it wasn't fully broken, which was good. I think it is also important to note that the title of this product includes the word 'permanent' in it however the first thing you see when opening the instructions is that it is not a permanent structure and is a 'temporary, portable shelter'. With all the parts this thing takes, I can't imagine someone waking up and saying let's take down the gazebo and bring it to the beach today. It is definitely not that kind of gazebo so I guess it's just a legalese way of saying we aren't responsible for your mishaps. Lastly, we live in a high wind area and opted to use concrete planets to anchor it. Seems to be working well and extremely heavy. Overall, it's a good product for the price and we are looking forward to enjoying it.

Elsa Blizzard 20"-36" of snow on top, 50 mph wind, no effect
Updated Review: We just finished with 20"+ of snow during Blizzard Elsa. The gazebo went through it fine, there is about 36" of snow on the side towards the house. We have had winds up to 50mph with the snow and it never budged. If you take your time and do it right, this is well worth the money! I would give it 10 stars if I could. We love it, well worth it. Anyone can put this together if you are smart about it. Take your time, organize the parts. Make sure it's plumb and level. Don't take short cuts. We followed a couple of reviews on here and watched a few youtube videos. The best piece of advice was sort your parts into containers and label them. If you are not mechanically inclined, get help. Two of us put this together with two ladders in 3 sessions. In total, going slow, about 16 hours. This is the first time we have been able to use our patio in 5 years. We have had canvas tops for the last 30. They either blow apart in the wind, rip, or the top sags with water when it rains. The frames get bent out of shape and you can't repair them. This is permanent. Also, our patio has a slope diagonally that we had to deal with. It drops about 4" from one corner to the other. We anchored two pieces of 2x6 AC2 ground contact treated lumber under the posts as needed and purchased concrete anchors for those. Then we used 3" deck screws with washers to anchor the posts to that. It's also easier to put in the panels without tightening them in right away because you might have to shimmy others in. You don't want to have to go back and loosen stuff up to adjust. All in all, would do it again. We also fit a 40" patio table, 4 chairs, a wicker rocker and two large wicker chairs inside. The dog is in the middle with her cushion! It's full. We did have one storm so far with 50mph wind, it didn't even creak! It certainly didn't even attempt to blow away like the old canvas ones we had. Would do it again, wish our patio was bigger. I think this just might work as a green house for seed starting in the spring, that would be a bonus. There are clear sides for pop up tents that would fit I think on Amazon.

Not sturdy AT ALL!!!
Very flimsy. Roof panels are not sturdy and will hold no weight. They are one step above cardboard. Looks great but the entire structure sways with the slightest wind. I'm certain that the only reason it hasn't blown away yet is because I bolted it down. The suppert beams for the roof are about an inch to short. Very disappointed in this product. Thought I was saving a few dollars but in the long run, I wish I would have paid a few buck for a better hardtop. I anticipate having to replace this after the first winter.

I love my gazebo. It looks really nice and is holding up decently well.
I love my gazebo. Make sure it’s tied down where the curtains are tightly to the posts when it’s windy. Otherwise, the clips will snap that hold the curtains on. They’re not easy to replace. It’s a bit of a project but they do send extra with the gazebo. And it prevents the curtain from tearing when they snap off. The wind knocked one of my curtain zippers off also.

A LOT of pieces to this kit gazebo.
I ordered this gazebo kit for our family park on our property in bug country Texas. I received the three large boxes a day apart from each other. I opened 1 of 3 first and found the hardware packages, packing list for the contents of box 1 of 3 and instruction manual. The packaging of so many parts in two of the three boxes was impressive. I liked that minimal Styrofoam was used in the packaging. The parts were packed extremely well in the kit I received. The pieces of the whole kit are made from thin flimsy metal, but I figured it would be for the price. The instructions are made up of a series of clear pictures with limited written instructions, I mean extremely limited, almost none. But they allowed me to get it put together and up with the help of one of my sons. It took me and my son about nine hours the first day and I finished it by myself the next day with about seven more hours of parts fitting. The kit got more and more rigid with every piece we bolted together. There were a few dings on a few of the pieces but nothing I couldn't straighten out to get the pieces to fit together correctly. I didn't have a single issue with any of the tapped pieces, which is saying something because there are a lot of piece in this kit. I put this gazebo together on a 20 by 12 foot concrete slab and it fit nicely. Let's just say once the whole kit was assembled I felt confident of two things. First, I won't be using this gazebo to do chin-ups because I don't believe it would hold my fat a$&. And second, it was steady enough to withstand heavy winds once I bolted to the concrete. I was originally going to build a pavilion from timber but saw this kit was on sale for less than it would have cost me to screen in and roof a timber built pavilion. The full wrap around screen and clothes walls are nice for the price. We will see how long it lasts in this Texas heat. This gazebo kit is exactly what you would expect for this price point. It's a gazebo made from thin metal bolted together to be just strong enough to be serviceable. The description is spot on and the finished product looks nice.

No more canvas canopies to replace!
This review is for the "Aoxun 10'x13' Hardtop Gazebo, Aluminum Frame..." w/ polycarbonate panels. I bought this gazebo to replace a canvas canopy gazebo I had previously. I got tired of having to replace the canvas canopy every 2-3 years due to sun and wind damage and squirrels tearing it up for nesting material. Assembly and installation went relatively smoothly although my wife reminds me that at times there was a lot of cursing involved but that was almost 2 years ago and I hardly remember. :D It took both of us about 3x 4-hour days. Before assembly, I read many reviews where I picked up very good tips that saved me a lot of time and effort and I recommend doing that to prospective buyers. Before I bought it I was a bit concerned about durability because in Central CA we have very hot and dry summers with days up to 110 F, wet and mild-cold winters, and some very windy months in between with winds sometimes gusting up to 50 mph. The unit went up almost 2 years ago and so far has taken the rigors of the weather very well. So far, only one small gap opened up between one of the panels and the metal flashing and it dripped when it rained. I closed that gap with silicone rubber and that took care of it. I can see the top of the gazebo from the second story of the house and it's developed a minor streak of rust from one of the bolts on the upper vent roof but is otherwise holding together very well. So far I'm happy with the purchase and not having to replace sun-beaten and squirrel damaged canvas canopies.
