To be honest I really dont know.Try it .If it binds to it go for it.

You do either. I comes with a disc or download the software and enter your license that came with the item

Will it run on a surface running windows s?

Short answer, no. S mode only allows software downloads from the MS store, which doesn't offer Real Flight. If you switch your Surface out of S mode you can download and run Real Flight as long as your Surface meets the system requirements for it.
