After using plenty of ceramic and stoneware dishes over the years, I keep coming back to Corelle. There's a reason this brand has such a loyal following, and this Country Cottage 12-piece set is a perfect example of why. First Impressions The Country Cottage pattern is simple, elegant, and timeless. The subtle floral border adds just enough design to look attractive on the table without being overly decorative. It fits just as well for everyday family meals as it does for entertaining guests. Surprisingly Lightweight One thing that always stands out about Corelle is how incredibly lightweight each piece is. Compared to traditional ceramic dinnerware, these plates and bowls are noticeably easier to carry, stack, and handle. That also makes them a great option for older adults, kids, or anyone who simply doesn't like heavy dishes. Durability This is where Corelle really earns its reputation. The plates and bowls feel much more resistant to everyday chips and cracks than most ceramic dinnerware I've owned. While no dish is indestructible if dropped the wrong way, they've held up extremely well to daily use. Unlike many heavier stoneware sets, they also don't seem to show utensil marks as easily. Space Saving Another underrated advantage is how thin the plates are. They stack neatly and take up much less cabinet space than traditional dinnerware, which is especially helpful if your kitchen storage is limited. Even the bowls nest efficiently without creating a huge stack. Everyday Convenience These dishes are designed for real life. Once you start using them, though, it quickly becomes one of their biggest advantages. Also, while they're highly durable, they're not indestructible. Like any glass-based dinnerware, a hard drop on tile or concrete can still cause breakage. Final Thoughts There are plenty of dinnerware sets that look nice, but very few combine durability, practicality, and timeless design as well as Corelle. This set has everything I look for in everyday dishes: it's lightweight, easy to store, simple to clean, and attractive enough to use for both casual meals and special occasions. If you're furnishing a new home, replacing an old set, or looking for reliable everyday dinnerware, it's hard to go wrong with Corelle. It's one of those purchases that you'll likely use every single day for years, and in my opinion, it's still one of the best dinnerware sets available.

Bought this small 12 pack to see how I liked it. I like them and plan to expand my set to eventually have 12 place settings. The raised florals are lovely in person. These dishes don’t get hot in the microwave like ceramic. I don’t think Corelle is the most in vogue set, you will not see it gracing the table of a Crate and Barrel or West Elm display. But I’m sick of replacing dishes or eating off chipped plates. My mother had Corelle dishes for decades, they just last and last. Corelle is made in the USA and safety tested, and I love that. My husband said they were so light weight he wondered if they could really be glass. Oh I also love the size of the smaller plates in this set- they are functional for a sandwich or meal, they are not a tiny dessert plate (but you could definitely serve dessert on them.) The bowls are fine though I sort of wish Corelle would branch out a bit with their designs and dish shapes. I consider this design (Bella Faenza) the best option among a really boring (Boomer friendly) catalogue of options. Instead of this floral print, how about some monstera leaves, or a throwback vintage design that isn’t 1990s. And rework the dish shapes a little. Something either older looking (like the pioneer woman line at Walmart), or more updated. But the dishes I got I’m satisfied with, and shipping was good.

Nice Corelle dishes. White keeps the meal the star, but the embossed edge adds a little something extra. Dinner plates are a bit smaller than we're used to but happy with the set. Got 3 sets total for 12 place settings. Replacing my ceramic was hard, but these are so light! It is so much easier putting them away in the upper cupboards, and they take up less than half the room. Happy with purchases!

I'm a longtime fan of Corelle dinnerware. It takes up less cabinet space and is lightweight, which is great for loading and unloading the dishwasher. Yet very durable, though will shatter if dropped on a hard floor b/c it's a glass product. But affordable enough to replace if needed. I had a set for 20 years and it barely looked used. Minor scratches, not stains. Just getting this new set for an updated design. Bought traditional dishes in between and just didn't like them as much.

GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! They are a knock off of one of my favorite extremely expensive china. A must buy. I have turned several friends onto them. You would never think that they are Corelle

We bought two sets of these. Two different orders. One set appears to be a “Seconds”. Still functional and most won’t notice. Some of the bowels have a ridge on the outside and when stacked aren’t uniform. Otherwise they are fine

I LOVE Corelle dishes…I’ve had since I was 21, almost 50 years ago. IMO it’s the best dinnerware available, it’s so lightweight, I’ve dropped on a few occasions and has never broken or cracked. Years ago I had different patterns, these days I buy only white, it looks so clean and crisp!

While it feels nice the lines are crooked and one of the plates is slightly bended. I have never expected that from this company.

I love these dishes, they are simple but elegant, a nice white with an etched design. I’ve always loved Corelle dishes for their durability and light weight. These have no painted design to come off and fade from the dishwasher, which is great! , they are pricey but so worth it! Lasts for years

Love these dishes but am now looking to find lunch plates to match as the 8.5” advertised plate is only 7”, fit for a muffin or a bread roll. Nothing wrong with the dishes, should just know what you’re getting.
