Design Is Storytelling

I am teaching myself graphic design. There are a lot of books that focus on graphic design principles, but this book has a unique spin that I find very helpful - considering design as a form of storytelling. It helped me view concepts I had already seen multiple times in other books and online classes in a completely different way. The author's way of writing, the design of the book, and the visuals all make each idea crystal clear and easy to digest and retain. A fun read indeed!

The graphics are great, printed like magazine. Haven’t read it fully. Book cosmetic is fine no scratches, printed well. Haven’t read it, will update review after fully reading.

There are a lot of cool pictures - but don’t make my mistake and bring it to your work desk - a few of the examples are definitely not safe for Work!

Perfect pocket-guide for introducing global critical design thinking. All ideas are narrated with apropos illustrations. Exploratory and visual approach to the telling of the story captivates the lay of the land for designing with a purpose, essentials of successful product design and significance of human interaction and customer journey throughout the process.

I’m studying design & this book is IMHO a must-read. About half of the book focuses on visuals to illustrate storytelling through design, & it’s tremendously helpful & direct. As a visual learner, I wish more books “took a page” from this one. I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to nurture their creativity.

Great gift for designers or design teachers. Pages are full of ideas and examples.

This book is really good and it makes so much sense. I hate reading, but the concepts talked about are so enlightening.

This book is exceptional! I learned so much from this author’s perspective. Thinking outside the box is exactly what you need. This book sparks creativity on a whole new level. I highly recommend reading this book.

Livre amusant mais peu avancé mais pour un simple marketer.

This is such a cool little book with all kinds of fun images in and info in it, highly recommend if your new to graphic design.
