Review: Nice sturdy game - The size of the wooden box was a surprise, I purchased this for RV travel and was not expecting it to be as large as it is. The game board is a 2 piece wooden puzzle. It is a very nice set. It would make a good family gift for the holidays. Perhaps I can store more than one game in the large box. Review: This game is a Hasbro debacle. - Don't buy it it is a poor rendition of scrabble. very disappointing. I would advise AP to discontinue the sale of this piece of junk.

I haven't had the chance to peek inside but the outside looks beautiful and it's so heavy
Bought this as a gift for a friend whom I regularly get together with to play Scrabble. I haven't had the chance to peek inside but the outside looks beautiful and it's so heavy! Will update when I get a look at the contents.

The quality of the actual tiles most dissapointing
I thought the tiles would be made of wood but were quite flimsy paper. (not RUSTIC!!)

You are paying for the box moreso than the game itself
I really like the box. The board might give you a sliver where it joins. The rustic look is kind of annoying as I am used to playing on the board where the tiles don’t move and the board spins. It feels overall cheap.

Very Vintage
We like the Scrabble game and have used it many times. It has a certain charm because the letters are wooden and it's stored in a wooden box. I actually keep it out for display.

Love the antique look!
The wooden material is very sturdy and it looks antique. Love to play and learn new vocabulary for kids.
