It is possible for one remote control to operate two fans at the same time, just set the same dipswitch on both receiver and remote control. But it will switch the fan lights on and off at the same time. If you need two fan and lights to operate separately, I suggest you buy two ceiling fan remote control kits. Set different pin codes on each kit (remote and receiver) and the fans will be controlled separately.
