Ingenious, well made jig for router guidance
Well made but so cunningly ingenious that initial assembly out of the box presents a slight challenge. Once that is mastered ( in 15 min or so in my case) flexibility of adjustment to infinite rectangular shapes and sizes and jig rigidity when locked into required shape and size makes this a most valuable and useful workshop addition for router machining. Highly recommended.

Good equipment, old fashioned design
Handy for letterbox holes etc but fiddly to set up and the little screws make it awkward to transport as easy to lose small bits. There should be a modern fixing method that would make transport easier. Also a shame that it doesn’t come with a transport case as Trend Tools are expensive so a decent transport bag/ case would seem sensible.

Very well made. Supports both my 1/4" & 1/2" router well.

Great quality
Brilliant tool need a bit of time to sort the putting together

Good for small jobs
Was brought to replace home made jig used for kitchen fitting. It good but sad to say not big enough for sink cutouts and clamps to small. I've had to purchase extra parts to make it fit for purpose as a kitchen jig. Build quality as expected from trend it's strong sturdy accurate and simple to use

Very handy but a pain in the butt to put away each time
Fast delivery as you would expect from Trend , my only criticism is that if you want to keep putting it away the reuse it them put it away it would drive you craxy.I’m keeping mine as shown in the photo, but great for routing , top notch

It worked well once set up
Others commented about its difficulty in setting it up, couple of things for me, spare screws will be I suspect required for long term use as everything I’m likely to do is a one off project. Would also be nice to be able to buy extension bars / spare longer bars for doing larger projects such as wardrobe doors and bead heads.Overall I like it, I haven’t used it with the really big router with 1/2inch collet yet but have made a draining board for a butler and a spalted hornbeam picture frame, both using the jig without issue. Setting up, just take care and use an engineers square to ensure angles are square, and you can use inserted off cuts to create other shapes whilst having the speed for duplicate work

This is awesome!
I had some interestingly-shaped holes to route and this jig helped me cut them to perfection. I suggest that you also get the clamps to hold the jig in place, but ordinary clamps work pretty well. The base of my routers allowed me to utilise the rise of the jig as a perfect boundary stop.Be careful with the screw fasteners as they are quite soft and a philips cross head can damage them quite easily when tightening or loosening the jig.Besides that, I found nothing to complain about (and I have used it a few timesI would recommend this product.

Well built & accurate
Exactly what I was looking for. Provide, easy setup, & simple to use. I lay down painters tape on project first and the attaché with double back tape. Doesn’t move and I get a tear out free cut.
