Brilliant trimmer I had my old one for years I got it 2nd hand but I didn’t think I would get one the same but I have it’s brilliant absolutely best trimmer ever

Finally I have found a trimmer that actually cuts in a straight line, which is a good job as my hubby put me on the naughty step for buying ones that didn't and having to replace them :) This is a sturdy trimmer, the bar actually holds the paper down properly, I would have preferred a measuring scale along the bottom edge of the trimmer rather than three inches up, but I am still giving it five stars because it cuts a nice clean line and I don't need to worry anymore about ragged edges and layers that aren't straight. I have been appalled at the quality of some trimmers over the last few months, and the fact that they are made with uncalibrated guidelines and measurements, I am glad my hunt for a good one is finally over. You won't regret buying this trimmer it really is excellent quality.

AVOID - DO NOT BUY THIS GUILLOTINE. I have not had this long and used it relatively sparingly, mostly cutting a mixture of either glossy/matte paper all less than 250gsm. First of all, you need to apply a lot of downward pressure to cut, and even a slight relief of this can ruin your cut. There's very little clearance and it's difficult to see where exactly you need to cut. But most worryingly is that I have gone to use my guillotine today and the result is in the attached photo. I am no longer able to do anything more than lightly crease the paper or (at most) shred it messily at random intervals. I have done absolutely nothing but this guillotine is fundamentally worthless now. A HUGE waste of time and money and a dreadfully assembled product all round. Do not make the mistake I made and AVOID THIS.

A super-professional and SAFE way to cut card (290 gms, which is quite thick card in my case) into cigarette cards. 500 every month. I had a cheap, plastic one before this and this is indeed a whole different ball game. Fine for commercial use. Would have been 5 stars, but no one seems to have stock of the replacement blades. 30 days delivery for a £6 blade? No thanks.

Great cutter, easy to use and gives clean cuts. Perfect for scrapbook and crafting.

The box was previously opened - torn in a couple of places. Cutting mat had cutting marks on it, as if someone has already used the tool. I've tried on a couple of sheets of office paper - worked great, no complaints. BUT. This item was intended as a gift, so the whole situation was quite awkward. So only 4 stars, not for the item itself, but for the used condition.

I received the trimmer as promised, thank you. However, I was disappointed that although the selling data reflected the inclusion of 10 blades, there were none and there was only a repository capable of holding only three blades. With this RT-200 we are replacing an older DC-200 from RotaTrim which are remarkably alike even the numbers and description of the blades are the same. The DC-200 has a repository capable of storing 12 blades, so you can see that my recent purchase is not as functional, which is disappointing. I now want to provide the blades identified on your outer box, can you advise if you sell them as an accessory to the RT-200. Regards, Richard

I really like the quality of this trimer. It was easy to use and accuate. Its sizing is good and cutting is on point with the sharp blade. I like how there are measurements on the base to enable accuracy to occur.
