Its fibreglass tape and is very good. It does the job so far i cannot fault it in anyway. Its special tape and does the job i cannot comment on the long term durability yet. If there are any issues i will update my review

it feels like it is protecting my edges
I bought this and applied it to my used cricket bat just to add some extra protection. Overall, it feels like it is protecting my edges, but after a while, the tape has started to come off.

Not like the old school bat tapes that would rather peel wood off your bat than come loose. This tape cape up at the edges and corners within 1 practice session at kid level. Not great.
