Yes LOCTITE 577 is suitable for use with domestic water systems and is approved for use with drinking water by WRAS when used with LOCTITE SF 7649 activator.

Is there a shelf life for this product I.e a use by date?

I have used this at over 5yrs old and still works well, sealing water and vacuum pipes and compressed air pipes at 11bar pressure, have used this in my job for the last 20 years and can’t find anything to beat it

How long would be the recommended cure time before filling up a heating system with 1 bar water pressure please

I used this on an oil sump differential. I used the catalyst spray to speed up the setting of the gel. If warm (room temp) it will start to gel within minutes. Leave for 30mins minimum. Leave longer (overnight) if you want to be sure.
