Royal Al-Hojari Frankincense from Oman - Boswellia Sacra - 25g

Really lovely quality Frankincense with a beautiful aroma. There is something 'clearer' to the aroma of of this compared to other frankincense. I hope it comes back in stock soon!

I am no expert on Frankincense but my order smells divine. I will order again.

My favourite so far!

Good sized tears, no crumbles or mush, nice solid resin, dry. I've uploaded some photos. The product arrived in a ziplock baggie with three A4 pages of tips on how to get the best out of the product, in excellent English. I usually burn mine in a tealight burner with a bit of foil to protect the incense, but this wasn't strong enough heat to bubble this resin. Next I used a charcoal tablet, but all that did was burn the incense so badly it just scorched and made so much smoke it set the smoke alarm off. After that I put a piece of foil between the resin and the charcoal - the resin melted more slowly and I got the fragrance coming through, but not enough of it to impress me. Then the foil put the charcoal out. Eventually I got it right, having had to bash up those lovely tears into smaller granules, then back on the tealight burner. After an hour or so, the fragrance started coming off, after a fashion, but this Frankincense didn't have the brightness or intensity of fragrance I was hoping for from a Sacra. I'm wearing a B.Carterii EO at the moment, and this Carterii is nicer. Admittedly, it is a really good unadulterated one, but nevertheless, who'd have thought? I've used Omani Sacra before, and it's been unforgettable, but this one didn't quite hit the mark. This was unforgettable too, just not for the right reasons.

Ottimo incenso dal profumo intenso, ne basta davvero una piccolissima quantità per riempire la stanza.

Très bonne combustion et odeur très agréable ! Le sachet est malgré tout plus petit que la présentation photo... Satisfait dans l'ensemble donc, je recommande !
