Solar Water Feature Terracotta Cascade Water Feature With Solar LED Lights, Brown

I am super-happy with this purchase. It was quick and easy to set up and does exactly what it says on the tin. The solar panel seems to give it enough juice to run most of the time (although it is August, so probably not so effective in winter months) it looks attractive and is perfect for my garden. A couple of tiny gripes; sometimes it works on a 3 hr timer, sometimes just keeps going until out of battery; the pump suction cups won't stick to the bottom of the main bowl. But otherwise it is pretty perfect and has given me a lot of pleasure.

i recently did some alterations to my garden and needed a feature, and this was just the thing i wanted. Easy to set up and lovely day or night, i have however recently noticed a LED bulb not working, although this has happened it has not affected the way it looks, i have contacted the seller if a replacement LED unit can be bought just incase anymore bulbs die (just as a personal option). All in all a lovely garden water feature.

I really like this water feature and the fact that it keeps going, even when there's a cloud. I had a similar one in the past, which cost double the price and every time the sun went behind a cloud, the water stopped trickling, which was very frustrating, so this one is much better. Love the fact there is a light too. I had a bit of a problem when putting it together, as it was very difficult to get the plastic tube to fit over the hole in the top terracotta pouring pot. In the end, I had to soak the end of the plastic tube in a jug of hot water, which made it a bit more pliable, though it was still a struggle to get it on. Apart from that though, I think this water feature is good quality and I was pleased with the price and I would certainly recommend it.

I wanted a simple water feature for my garden that didn't stop as soon as the sun went behind a cloud! This does the job well. I love sitting out in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine reading my book and listening to the water in the background. I added some decorative pebbles to the bottom dish to give it a bit of colour as all the dishes and jugs are undecorated terracotta (arty types could decorate it themselves). You just need to keep an eye on the water level though - it seems to vanish very quickly and if the pump isn't fully submerged it won't run. Also be prepared to clean the whole thing out now and then, to keep the pump free of debris and gunk. The pump will only run for 3 hours at a time each day but I find that's more than enough time for me. Very happy with my purchase.

Did not work. I charged up solar panel and managed to get the lights to work but the connection to the pump was loose and refused to work. I contacted the seller but he did not respond. It looks lovely and the pots are very nice. It would be lovely if it worked. Still sitting in the box in my garage.

This was a replacement for a similar water feature which was just run by solar energy (no back up battery) so this one carries on working for a while even when the sun has disappeared. The terracotta is thinner and more elegant but probably will crack quite easily if knocked. The LED light doesn't work!

I found it easy to assemble and once done it looks after itself apart from a top up occasionally to replace evaporated water. It produces a soothing water sound and the solar panel seems big enough to generate the power required. The timer is very accurate - it comes on each day at whatever time is originally set and runs for three hours. This can easily be changed or overridden manually with the on/off button. The LED light works though we haven't used it in the dark much.

Bought this for Father's day gift and was happy with the delivery time. My Dad who is 83 had no trouble putting it together and soon had it working. The only thing I would suggest could improve it would be if there was better operating instructions. He is unsure how and when the light should come on, although that is a minor problem. He has sent me some picture of it set up in his garden and it does look good. May be tempted to get one myself.
