Army of Two: The 40th Day (PS3)

Great product!

I can't tell you how keenly my son and I have waited for this game to come out. We really bonded over the first one, joking and laughing and high five'ing our successes and have a great time. The story was superb and so was game play. So was this more of the same ? YES and NO. The gameplay was back and so were some of the great cut-scenes. Some of the high-fives were there but now they introduced a rock/paper/scisssors feature .... why is beyond me. Used it once and never again; and here is where I started to get suspicious ... The story was appaling. Nothing really makes sense in terms of a story. It's very lame and doesn't unfold at all well and is totally unbelievable ... even for a computer game ... and that's saying something. A number of what should have been cool cinematics are told in cartoon/comic like sketches. All can assume is the development team for actually making the game play were totally on-board but the creative/artistic team just totally dropped the ball. There's little or no story, nothing makes sense and some of the choices you have to make in the game are just plain irritating. If it wasn't for the fact the game played so well... this would have bombed. So bad points are stupid rock/paper/scissors, rediculous in game choices, lack of story, poor cut scenes. Good points ... more fabulous game play and kit to pimp and upgrade. Finally ... the last choice you make in the game ... what's that all about. That just left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. It wasn't necessary and didn't prove anything other than to try and make a moral dilema for the players...please...give me a break ... that was lame.

the army of two continues with better gameplay and graphics. It is the same content as the first game, and especially in coop mode that i ve played, you ll enjoy it very much. It lasts longer than the first one(at least it did to me) and it gives all the fun you expect

A golden oldie, bought because it’s one of a dwindling number of games you can play in local coop mode

dont know if this is any good as they sent it me for the ps3 when i have a xbox,but to be fair they refunded me sharpish and didnt expect me to send it back.

Not finished, probably go back to it later,recommended by a friend, not really my cup of tea, prefer more conventional/ realistic style like WW2 games Call of Duty etc.

As a Dead space maniac gamer this game it seems to me too slow but the movement of the characters were very good ,the graphic were breath taking but it wasn't for me .

There isn't much much to review. EA took the servers down for an intentionally designed 2 person coop and left you with only single play or couch. They don't even let you connect directly to a friend.
