Yes, but not if you do a large amount of computer work out zooming. It really is more for relaxing with a book, unless you’re a teen, they can work on their laptop anywhere. Unfortunately, I would need more structure when working for long periods of time.

Can this be washed in washing machine?

No the fabric does not get warm when you sit in it. The chair is very comfortable every one who comes to my house wants to sit in it.

Does it flip over too easily? Would my 7 year old be able to get in and out of it easily, without it flipping?

It's actually pretty sturdy. I haven't flipped over in it. It doesn't feel wobbly. I feel like it would be safe for a 7 year old! I'm 4'11 and can get in and out of it just fine!
