Incredible Performance for Web browsing ,Email or Gaming and Beyond!
The negative reviews must be a different router or user error or not technically proficient in network technology. Because I couldn't be happier with the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro. This is a game changer and this router is a powerhouse for all types of use! Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the intuitive ASUS Router app. The tri-band WiFi 6 provides blazing-fast speeds, even with multiple devices connected, and the 10G and 2.5G ports are game-changers for serious gamers and streamers like me. What stands out the most is the Triple-Level Game Acceleration—it optimizes gaming traffic like a pro, ensuring no lag during intense matches. Plus, the ASUS RangeBoost Plus extends the WiFi signal throughout my large home, eliminating dead spots. The subscription-free network security is another huge bonus, providing peace of mind without additional costs. I purchased two routers because being AiMesh compatible, it seamlessly integrates with my existing ASUS routers for whole-home coverage. Flawless Mesh Setup—Perfect for WiFi Calling and Gaming!
We set up two ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro routers at our property using the AiMesh feature, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. The mesh network works flawlessly—seamless connectivity throughout the entire house, even in spots where WiFi used to struggle. One of the biggest perks? WiFi calling. We live in an area with spotty cell service, and this setup has been a lifesaver. Calls are crystal clear, with zero drops or delays, no matter where we are in the house. As for performance, it’s everything you’d expect from a gaming router and more. Speeds are lightning fast, and we’ve had no issues handling multiple devices streaming, gaming, and working at the same time. The 10G and 2.5G ports are a great touch for wired connections, especially for gaming or transferring large files. Setup was straightforward, and the ASUS app made it easy to customize the network exactly how we wanted it. Plus, the subscription-free network security gives extra peace of mind—no hidden fees, just solid protection. If you’re looking for a powerful, reliable router for gaming, streaming, or even just improving connectivity in areas with bad cell reception, this one is worth every penny. Highly recommend, especially for mesh setups!

Best router i have owned! Speed/Quality/Ease!
I bought this router because i upgraded to fiber internet. I wanted a router that could really handle the 2.5 speed i wanted. This thing is a beast! The wired speed is perfect and the wireless coverage and speed are amazing! This unit is on the larger side though. This router comes with a great App that i use often. The app can scan for best optimal wireless channels, you can kick the kids off at night if you wish to, and make changes on the fly! I have a smart home, a gaming family, and more devices then i can count - and this thing holds up the entire network! Highly recommend ASUS!

A must have if you want speed and distance.
Great Product and at a great price. Just hours after the Pentagon announced that these products were not going to be available until approval by them the prices jumped. So, I bought within hours of it. Connected well with my computer and StarLink. The range is great! about a half a block away. The speed is the best.

Extremely good signal, no need for other network device at home
I am not a power user of routers, but I play with settings and prefer one single device instead of several. For many years had an Asus router which provided coverage to all my house and was able to keep a very demanding amount of devices connected. Never felt the reason to jump to a Mesh system. I am glad to report this router offers that same experience. I don't necessarily think I feel better performance as with the previous router, but it is at least at the same level. My house is not big, but there are many devices connected to internet and this router manages to keep them up all online without feeling they are competing for bandwidth. Setting it up is extremely easy and with the help of a cell phone app, you can control everything and keep it updated, turn guest network on and off and tweak all settings. I play online games at the same time that my wife is watching Netflix and none has felt any hiccup in connectivity. I guess this is the least you can expect for the price, but after having dealt with many routers in the past, I feel the price is justified due to its performance. As a side note, it is always funny when ISP technicians come to perform maintenance or similar, and they see the router next to their modem... they sort of take me a bit more seriously when discussing issues and potential fixes.

Poor reliability, Looks beefy but failed in 1 year.
I did a lot of research on routers before selecting this one. I am not persuaded by fancy bells and whistles. I chose it because it had good features such as Parental settings, speed, Tri-band. I just didn't have experience with Asus. My experience was with known brands like Linksys and I have had a lot of success with them lasting beyond 10-15 years. This router from the beginning looked pretty heavy duty but it lacked the range for wireless. I had connection problems that I never had with my old router. I had to leave it out on top of my home entertainment cabinet for range coverage. Then the wireless stopped working around 1 year old. all 3 bands of wireless 5Ghz 2.4Ghz.

Good router, functions well as mesh lead and node, could be stronger signal
While this is no longer the top-of-the-line device, the dual 5 GHz antennas work better for my use case of setting up a whole-house wireless mesh network, as 5 GHz signals punch through walls better than 6 GHz signals on many modern routers. Look, if you are a gamer and sitting close to your router (direct eye contact), definitely get a 6 GHz device. If you are a serious gamer, forget that too and go direct connect. For me, this unit was the best option, and being a few years old, the price was also great. It's hard for me to evaluate this device on many features, as I mostly use it as a hard-wired access point connected to my OpnSense dedicated firewall. This device replaces an older Asus, which has now become a node on the mesh. So, why only 4 stars and not 5? At the same time that I bought two of these to set up a mesh, I also purchased a TP-Link BE6500 router for a separate Wifi network. Sitting in my upstairs bedroom, I am surprised by the strength of the signal and speed of the connection that I can establish to the TP-Link router. While the main ASUS router is actually closer to me than TP-LINK, I could never get the same signal strength from connecting directly to ASUS as I did connecting to TP-LINK. My impression is that the TP-Link signal is stronger. As I mentioned, however, I use the ASUS routers in a whole-house mesh, and when meshed, I get awesome performance, easily saturating my AT&T Fiber WAN connection running at 600 Mbps. Overall, I like this router, but I wish it had a stronger signal.

This is the Router you want. Outstanding.
I have had many routers in my life, but this is THE router you want. Heavy feel to it. NOT cheap. Not only does it outperform my previous ones, but it arrived in the most professional, protective and beautiful packaging I have ever seen! The box even has beautiful graphics to it, opens like there is a crown jewel in there and contains all you need to get up and running along. I have a (4) fan cooler under it in the pictures (not included...buy that separately on Amazon if you would like). I had the normal amount of time setting it up. I did have some issues with getting the 10G port as my WAN, so I called the number supplied. The techs had me up and running in a little bit with some setting changes way down deep in the application dashboard. I am on fiber optic so maybe that had something to do with the setup on the 10G port. But once up and running, I was able to crank along at tethered/wired 756mps download and 966mps upload. Slower on PC Wi-Fi. But just as super-fast on Wi-Fi iPhone. NO dropouts in the month I have had it. NO problems in the month I have had it. Very happy. I have never spent this much on a router, but you only live once, and this is definitely worth it. I never thought much about the way a router looked but this one is very well thought out and pretty. Nice touch with the (2) USB ports, too. I have my router down low so not a big deal the ports are on the top side and top side back corner. If you plan on hanging it (I personally wouldn't...) to look at it the way the lights are, the ports would be on the topside, which can be a pain sometimes to get to. All the arms move really nicely for placement as you like. I could not be more impressed and pleased with this router. VERY NICE and very happy!!

Strong Performance aided by a strong antenna, massive coverage, massive speed
This is my review of the Asus AX11000 Pro router after using it for 7 days. I have owned Two Asus AX1800, TWO Asus ROG Rapture AX6000 and one Asus AX86U. My experience with Asus Routers has been profound and I have tried almost all of the top line Asus Routers till date. This was now my time to check out Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro and exhaust myself of Asus Router options. This is pretty clear that after using Asus Routers like a pro, I have owned this router with experience. Now, coming to my observations 1. The ROG RGB lighting is top class, and it surpasses the ROG lighting of the AX6000 router hands down. BUT, and there is a BIG BUT, the ROG lighting in Asus AX11000 Pro lacks a very significant feature. When the WAN connection goes down, the ROG lighting should be flashing RED (just like it does for Asus ROG AX6000). This functionality does not work in AX11000 Pro which is quite a dampener since the router RGB lighting should indicate that the WAN is down. 2. Why the missing functionality of Point# 1 is more prominent, the LED lights for WAN, LAN and WiFi are EXTREMELY INCONSPICUOUS and It takes a microscope to see those LED lights. These LED lights can only be viewed if you go 6 inches near the router and see the router top down. The LED lights are just not visible, and it is totally in opposite to how the Asus AX6000 flashes the LED. This is extremely poor in quality. 3. Coming to performance. Here the router shines like a bright star. I have a network scenario where the Asus AX11000 pro is facing a TRIPLE NAT scenario. but the Broadcom chip on the router is so powerful that in spite of triple NAT, there is no dip in the Internet download and upload speeds that the ISP provides in its own stock router. The 1 GB DDR4 RAM certainly helps and even with IPS and AiProtection ON, the memory utilization never crosses the 65% mark. 4. The Coverage is awesome. It can pierce brick walls , and in my case, it pierces 2 massive brick walls to give me an extremely stable internet connection. In fact the RSSI dips from -20 db to -60 db when it pierces 2 brick walls whereas low cost Asus routers dip by -80 db. Hence WiFi coverage is top notch and works extremely well in India where homes have solid brick walls inside the apartments. No router in Asus lineup can perform with such panache. The 10GBPS LAN port allows you to create a 2.5 GBPS network by normal Cat 6 cabling across the house. Heat management is good, and the cooling is through passive heat management. The router is silent all across the time. In essence, if you have the money and budget to buy an effective router with value for money in mind, buy the Asus ROG Rapture AX6000. But if you are in the market for a Tri-band WiFi router and budget is not an issue, blindly go for this router.

Imponente
