Bought these to join two IKEA kitchen worktops together - easy to fit if you have basic DIY skills (like measuring accurately and drilling holes to precise depths). I am very pleased with the join that they produce and the ratchet tightening mechanism is solid, giving a good tight seal - see photos.

Have used these when first they arrived on the market for newel posts. To say the least, these are a less robust version but, nevertheless, they got me out of a jam with a mason's joint on a new worktop on old base units. The same rule applies with these as with standard bolts viz, do not over tighten. If you over-do it, these will fail and the bolt will be loose. If you over tighten a standard bolt you will crush the laminate edges and get a "rise" on the joint line that will look terrible and will leak. Use just finger and thumb and not a full grip.

A lot easier to use than standard bolts. You can tighten the bolts super quick with drill and Allen bit.

Easy to use. Reasonably priced. You needn't be a professional kitchen fitters to install these

Mostly did the job. But one of them out of 6 was faulty and would not tighten up .

Good product and saves having to spend too much time on your back unde a sink unit, The gearing is not the best, it is stiff and notchy gives the impression it will fail. However thay did work.
