Wiha 96706 torx screwdriver with precision handle, T6 x 40mm. Blade high alloy CVM steel. Single blister package. Review: Extremely high quality - This is the perfect driver to tighten the pocket clip on my benchmade pocket knife, and I've been using it for years without wearing it out. Review: Sometimes more expensive is less costly - I've been serious about working on knives for about two years now, and in the time I've d****d around with every cheap set of torx tools from Kershaw's to Lowe's brand to Husky, and even no-name Chinese junk. Everyone said Wiha was the best, but I just couldn't stomach the price of them, which was often double or triple the other cheaper ones I would buy. But it was a classic case of "pennywise, pound foolish": I stripped so many screws and the actual bits, both of which I then had to buy replacements for, that I'm sure I spent far more than I would have if I'd just bought the Wiha in the first place. No more. I finally broke down and bought this single torx driver for sixe T6 bolts, which are the most common size for knife pocket clip screws, and also, usually, the smallest--and easiest to damage--on a knife. I ALMOST can't believe the difference, but I understand what proper tempering does for steel, so really I'm not surprised that the head of this driver is so much more effective with the bolts. And it is--I haven't stripped a screw since I bought this driver, and I now own a full set of Wiha in the sizes needed to work on knives. The Wiha heads are so much more perfectly cut and seat into the bolts perfectly; their hardened steel tips are actually much harder than the bolts, and even the magnetism is the perfect strength to hold onto those tiny little T6 bolts, but not strong that it's inconvenient to try to extricate the tool from the bolt when one is ready to do so. Learn from me: sometimes the cheap-o, generic, off/store brand products are every bit as good as the name brand, but tools are NOT one of the products where that is the case. With tools, you get what you pay for, and you pay for what you don't get. I can't speak to any other work besides pocket knives, but I imagine it's about the same thing if one needs to open up a computer case to replace component hardware--delicate work that has a much lower chance of getting screwed up if one uses high-quality tools. So save yourself frustration, time, and money, and just buy the Wiha tools first so that they're the only ones you have to buy.

What is a good tool
It's Wiha. What else do you need to know. I read reviews of the tips breaking. This is a small torx so if you torque the bolt too tight you will break the tip. Solution, don't over tighten and you will be happy with it. Also Wiha warranties their tools. I know this for a fact since they have sent me a replacement before

Just Buy It Already
I needed this screw driver to work on my Ring doorbell camera. It worked perfectly. It is surprisingly well built. A lot of things that I buy off of amazon, tool wise, see to be a little cheaper made, Not This! It is a very well built tool and I highly recommend that others buy this if you are looking at this or other size tools from this company.

Nice quality!
Love these! Asking for a complete set for wishlist so I can throw out all my old ones that aren't hardened and strip out.

Love this company so far
I strip the crap out of torx 6 bits, working high end knives and video game controllers. It has last longer than most I have had before that isn’t over a hundred. So size ,value and my functionality it gets a 10/10

Say goodbye to stripped screws (hopefully, mostly)
Have you ever stripped a T6 screw on a pocket knife and immediately grew angry? At yourself for doing it or at the company for using a notoriously bad screw size that strips? Who knows. Either way you should get yourself a good bit that fits super well. This screw driver fits like a glove, and with decent pressure very has come out on me. It is small and compact, lets me choke up to hold closer to the screw itself, is cheap for the quality of the metal itself, and the tail lets you spin this in your hand pretty well. Only downside for me would be the handle is just cheap most likely injection molded plastic. However, this lets them keep the price down while working completely fine.

Good Quality and Price!
Ordered two T6 screwdrivers. However, one came with the correct label but it was actually a flat head screwdriver, not the T6. Did a replacement and received it the next day. Nice quality and is perfect for what I needed them for. Very reasonably priced and they seem very sturdy.
