Chief Curry Powder, 230 g

I have tried so many different curry powders, Caribbean background, This is the Best curry powder so far, I have been using the same for years, was so happy when I discovered at my local Caribbean store and on Amazon, great tasting quality product. Just restocking now and thought that this product deserves a review and needs to be shared with my Caribbean people or anyone who love their curry powder be it for seasoning or for that curry goat or roti. Best Trini curry on the market. Absolutely perfect

I did a lot of research into which to make and curry powders were the most authentic and after doing loads of research into which curry powder was the best the most authentic and the tastiest for authentic Caribbean and Jamaican curries this one came up at tops I am so glad that I bought this curry powder it is absolutely beautiful it tastes really authentic homemade Jamaican curry and I'm so glad that I got this brand my partner also loves the taste of this I usually use it with lots of garlic loads of onions to make up the sauce sometimes oxtail and sometimes chunks of shin beef or pork not much else goes into it so it's really easy to use I will be buying this product again I highly recommend it and we've all research this brand is the most authentic for Jamaican and Caribbean food

I love a good curry powder for Jollof rice and Nigerian stew and this one meets my needs to so much. Tried this brand to see if it taste anything line Nigerian one. I must say taste so alike and I loved it. Will definitely be sticking to this brand. total smells and taste amazing. recommended.

My family has been using this brand for years. It's the go to brand for most Trinidadian homes. I had to ordered through Amazon because I was low on supply. Normally would get from the large Asian store but that's a 30 min drive. Quality of the order was good, just really expensive. Not sure why Amazon is charging so much when the store has them for way less.

Growing up, my mother used a different brand of curry powder. I couldn’t get my hands on that one but to my surprise, Amazon was selling Chief curry powder, a brand I’m familiar with. I’m so happy I made this purchase. The flavor was so good, even my mother who tasted my curry, said she would switch! Lol. I honestly think this is the best curry powder for Caribbean curries. Love it

A recipe for a dish from Trinidad-Style Aloo and Channa was in the food section of the Washington Post recently. It called for Chief Curry Powder. I'm so glad I ordered it. The dish is delicious. This curry powder has a wonderful flavor and is not overly spicy. I will be using it in other dishes that require curry powder as well.

Love the authentic flavour and maintainance of quality through the years but costly to use on a daily basis.

The is not a knock on Grace (New York) and some of the other curries out there, but there is only one way to capture the flavors of the island; buy seasonings, spices, oils, soy sauces (yes, there is a Jamaican soy sauce made from the sugar cane of the island as it was partially settled by Asian farmers)...etc. Chief is made and packaged on the Island. Always check the "Made in" on the label... The flavor is enhanced by the soil it is sourced from....
